Did I get carried away with "interests"??

When I first signed on, and I don't remember exactly which place I read this on myLot but it advised to put in lots of interests. So I browse interests and I kept clicking away. I would see repeats, just a different photo, so I'd click on that one too thinking maybe this is the right one? Anyway I got 534 interests now I think. I do have varied interests, but do you think I got carried away?

I definitely got carried away with my interests. I have a few that are variations of the same thing even! I try to go through and clean them up a bit, but I have so many that I give up about half way through the process. LOL

Hi, I have experienced the same. On certain days I decided I will un-select a few interests but I got tired in the middle of it and thought it is better to let them stay, LOL!

Hi chrisine, I think I might have said welcome yesterday, but anyway, welcome again... On no, I have seen people who have an excess 1000, some of those have to be duplicates,,But I just think it gives you a better variety...you have 534 and I have a little over 100 but who is counting,,,,LOL

I don't think it matters too much. I have gone back and deleted a few of mine that are kind of out of date. Having a lot of interests is good because then you have a category you can post a discussion under.

Hi, You certainly have a large number of interests! I have 211 interests but active in may be 20 at the most.When I signed up like you, I got carried away and selected many interests. Yeah, some are repeats as you said but the discussions posted there may be unique so no harm in being signed up on many interests. After all, we never know which particular interest we may take a liking to at some point of our stay here. Happy Mylotting1
