Hey there guys I wanna talk about positive and negative perspectives, i think a person with a positive perspective in life have a better shot at life because he or she is is optimistic about things, keeps on thinking that there is a better tomorrow to come so i wonder why people do live by a life in negative perspectives i know that it sometimes is right to be pessimistic as a precaution but to live in a state of mind of negativity, is what amazes me, what do you think guys?

Pessimism is necessary to be able to see many things that could be a consequence to one's action. I believe that once it disappears, it will be disastrous for one. Living in a state of pessimism is another thing. I once was a very pessimistic person--even until now but before was really worse. The reason was because I see the world as something that has nothing to it. I think the best description I can give is that I am looking at the world behind a glass window. Events are just passing but I am not really involved in it. I was merely an observer and thinks that people are hopeless in terms of making life good for them and that it would be best if the world would just restart. Anyways, I think, most people lives in a state of pessimism now is because of their environment. We often see other people having nothing--envying those who seems to have everything--and die with so much regrets, leaving a family in a state of difficulty. Thus, seeing our own self with depravity as well. Because of this, people often forget that the world is abundant of many things. I guess this is one of the things why I like the opening song of "The Lion King". It talks about a world with something that has so much more than people can see, do and take.

Really? Wow. Do I seem like an optimistic now? That's a surprise. lol Instead of optimistic, I think I am in the middle of optimistic and pessimistic. You see, I learned that in order to not be pulled in either or being pushed around by life, I have to scrutinize first which thought to take: either positive, negative or the neutral. You see, I learned that whatever you thought of life is, it would be yours. So for example that I will think that I can't make something, I really won't be able to make it so long as I think that I can't. However, if I think differently--which is a bit difficult--I usually end up doing what I thought. In simpler terms, the brain is like a computer that needs your input. It will process the data, one inputs in oneself, and will give you a corresponding output depending on many different factors. So if you're just optimistic but acting rashly, one cannot expect he or she will succeed in the same rate as those who really thought things out and have the proper personality--well that's what I learned over the years...I mean, do you even understand what I mean?

Hey i am not that slow you know and frankly it is easy to understand you since you write the same way as you speak in tagalog so i can understand you very clearly, you think things through sometimes with optimism sometimes with pessimism and at times also in neutral . You try to use the appropriate attitude towards the right course of action so that action and emotion is in sync as to avoid wrong doings and get the best outcome of what you do. Now did you get that oh wise one. Your so smart.

Hi there sinful rose, Wow that is pretty elaborate explanation and such deep thoughts for such a young mind, in my opinion you are right now a very op[optimistic person because you see the good in being a pessimist, it is true that it is important so that we can scrutinize things in our lives in order to keep on struggling for that greener pasture or a better life ahead.

Human beings have both positive and negative thoughts and attitudes, our positive thoughts encourage and motivates us to do a lot of things without fear and hesitation, on the other hand our negative thoughts will demotivate us and we don't give any progress due to the negative thoughts, as our pessimistic views make us to think about the drawbacks in a thing and we refuse to do it due to the bad. As a result we don't get any progress with our negative thoughts. An optimist have the ability to see the positives in their failures too, this made them to achieve a lot in their life, where as a pessimist see the negatives in a good thing which made them to avoid doing things. Some times in very rare cases our pessimist views will help us to avoid failures, but it is in rare manner. Most of the time we miss some good chances due to the pessimistic views. We must be optimist and avoid negative thoughts in our life. Whatever it is, we must give a try to know about our real power and ability. Be bold and have positive thoughts to achieve a lot in our life and avoid the pessimistic views.

Culturally it is thought that positive is just positive and negative is just negative unless people see things in a reverse so truly both negative and positive can have either different effects depending in the person perceiving it and the situation given with all of its factors. In my own experience i had been more of the negative kind of person till i realized that this was not the way to live a good life so now i see more of the optimistic side of things so that i can truly live a full life without regret.

It is never right to be pessimistic. It is always right to cautious as a precaution. Any amount of ngativity is still negative, no matter the reason for it.

Right, you placed in in better words than i did who made the topic, but yeah caution is caution and negativity is negativity: it is different as for caution it is like saying lets go cross the bridge but be careful it might brake compared to a negative that hey let's not cross we wills surely fall and die crossing the bridge, i get your point on this i should had made the example the first time so i had made my point clearer, thanks for the comment.

You were right to suggest that a person with a positive perspective will be happy and have a better life.

Canellita, In my head i believe that if you just let things be and just enjoy your life responsibly with a positive outlook then all the failures and bitterness in your world will just subside they may not be entirely gone but i am sure they will fade in the background.
