lotion and nail polish

I saw a tip that was just a pic but it said to put lotion around your cuticles and then take a q-tip to remove any polish on the skin? Does anything like this work? I love playing nail shop with the girls but their hands aren't very steady and well you can imagine how much can be on my skin vs nail sometimes.

That sounds like it would work.

I have to admit that I've never heard anything like this. However, once I take a little bit of time to think about it, it really does sound like something that might make a lot of sense. The reason that it seems to make sense to me is the fact that a lot of lotions are a little bit oily and when you have something oily on your skin, it would be less likely that something would be able to adhere to your skin through the oily type of base.

Never tried the lotion, but I don't have much of a problem getting nail polish off the skin. It usually washes right off for me.
