Hi guys, I have been in Goa from last 2 years and I have been to the churches here. Since my husband is Catholic went went to church for Christmas and new year. I was shocked to see what girls wore to church. I felt like I have come to a Fashion show and not church. Girls wore all kinds of dresses and so so short. almost the undy could be seen in some cases. tube like dresses and so much I can't write all that. The church was full inside so we were just standing at the entrance, and there was this girl standing in front of us. She was so uncomfortable in that short dress that she was continuously pulling her dress down. I had never seen anything like this. we at home wear descent clothes to church but hear people come to show off what they wear. No one was in the prayers. This is crazy. From that day i don't like to go to church here. That is not how to b in a church.
Have you seen anything like this in your country or anywhere?

hi,
I came to know that , you are going to participate in sa re ga ma pa (zeetv), that's one of my favorite show, all the best.
Now about the discussion, yes, i am a christian from India, and i have seen people (girls) wearing such dresses to church in big cities, especially in cities where there is more western effect( may be in metros) , but the place where i live , is conserved, people here go to church in a well dressed manner, they cover their body properly, i am brought up like that, my mom is very particular about dressing.

Hi riyauro,
Congratulations for the opportunity you have got to participate in sa re ga ma pa. I wish your dream will come true.
I hate the girls who wear short dresses and expose themselves.

Places of worship are sacred. They should be visited only to worship and offer prayer.I am Hindu from India.I go to temples.Fortunately temples are not visited at least now in so short dresses.Women and girls wear saree which is a very sober clothing. However boys wear jeans that are so tight that....you can understand what I want to tell. However I have seen vagabonds playing cards inside the temples. They were gambling there. All such things are sacrilege.Nobody has the right to violate the sanctity of the places of worship.

I see something like that happen in my city too.
sometimes I wonder why they wear that such a tacky dress. Funny thing happen when I went to church on last easter. People came and wore fancy and fashionable clothes but all in dark color. And it was only me with the pastor wore light color, I wore light tosca green dress, and then in his sermon the pastor said "why did you all come in black? are you mourning for easter day? this is a victory day for us, we should celebrate it"
