Nigel De Jong had lost his position in manchester city.. Mancini had confirmed and agreed for Nigel de Jong move to another club if he want to move.. Inter is linked with Nigel De Jong..But Nigel De Jong did not want his salary is lower than his wages in Manchester city it shows several things to us.. several Italy clubs is colaps and they have no much money for buying or paid the wages of the stars..And it happens to Milan when they try to take back Kaka and now it happens to Inter Milan.. What do you think about the rumour of this transfer and will Nigel De jong give good impact to Inter Milan?? share your opinion

He might, but the story is that his wage demands are too high... or maybe he is being used as part of a transfer. Who would they replace him with? I think they would be short a good defensive midfielder if they let him go. If DeRossi came in from Roma, he could go, but not without someone coming in. Maybe Mancini is thinking Rodwell will develop into the proper DM role, but that would take some time... I think DeJong is a very good player, top class, good work rate, good tackler. He can't shoot and doesn't make many creative moves, but that's not his job... City do not want Kaka. Overrated player, like many brazilians, especially when they move to England. Look what happened to RObinho... and he's don't better at Milan, but not that much better. England is a very physical game, I think city need someone like De Jong, or De Rossi there. Actually I'd like to see City get Chiellini from Juventus; he would be great with Kompany.

Actually if Mancini is serious about his new V formation with wingbacks, he may actually want to get rid of a purely defensive midfielder like De Jong, but this system isn't actually well tested yet, so I would say hang onto him. There are always these intangibles like how good De Jong is mentally; he seems a very strong player mentally, like Zabaleta.

@sir : that is the fact..italy league get a crisis..they must take seriously about the wage things when they want to buy a player.. OMG..Chiellini for City?? City have Kompany, Lescot..They are enough with that..Please don`t bother De Rossi anymore..

Kompany is world class, and Lescott is good, but not world class... and Savic is too young, was very poor at the back. So that is actually a weakness for city, they don't have a world class center back along with Kompany, and they are missing cover in case Kompany or Lescott are out. Richards can go to center back, so can Yaya, but those are not great options. Zabaleta plays best on the wings... I think Chiellini would be great... but then again I'm not the manager.

I do not think there will be many clubs that can match his salary at Man City. For De Jong the choice is simple, more salary or more game time. I do not think he will have too much of playing time with Man City now that they have so much creativity in the park and Yaya Toure being the first pick for the defensive midfielder. Cheers! Ram

Yes, Barry is very much with Man City. I do think he is also slowing down a bit, but currently he is ahead of De Jong in the Man City pecking order. Cheers! Ram

after Yaya Toure, don`t forgot that City still have Gareth Bary..if iam not wrong, City sometimes use 2 holding midfielder together...They always use gareth barry and Yaya toure in one match...

The problem with Man City and those mega-rich clubs is that they are willingly to offer grossly inflated salary package to entice the players to sign with them. When those highly paid players are no longer needed, the clubs will find it hard to move them out. The interested clubs are not able to pay them the same package and neither does the players want to move for a lesser pay. The financial crisis that is threatening to cripple Europe is still very much alive. Not only are the italian clubs affected, the rest like Spain (except for Real Madrid and Barcelona), France are in danger. BPL seems to be the one immune to it but this is because of the huge fan base and TV payout. But if that source is cut, many of the BPL clubs is in danger of disappearing from the league altogether.

Another garage sale from City, I guess. After Adebayor De Jong once a good player. I rarely see him playing now. But I think he could still give a good impact to his club. About Italy, yeah they got the financial problems worse across the big league in Europe. See Milan for example, they're forced to sell their two star players. Indeed it would make Italy seems like 'weaker' and 'weaker' league..

Adebayor must leave City..he waste his time if he still stays in City.. and it is same to Nigel De Jong.. iam not sure that Mancini gives them chance for playing regularly.. the question for them, will they decrease their minimum wage??

last season i was rearly impressed by De jong so i cant see why Man city are letting him go but in midfeild i thought he definatly added some strength so they would miss that. I think that he will be a good player for Inter Milian but if he is greedy for money i wouldnt bother as i cant stand greedy players.

Apparently the news of Nigel De Jong transfer to Inter Milan only grew louder after Manchester City are not keen to use the services of the Dutchman's, because he was unable to compete with his peers and City Management course gives the signal if he wanted to move to another club. Inter Milan is the club's most widely reported to use the services of these players, if this is the case if the transfer is an advantage for Inter Milan because these players can play in midfield compatriot is Sneidjer. He can also be a coating for Cambiasso. But reportedly also ready to overtake Inter Milan in the transfer of Nigel De Jong.

but once again, money is the factor why Inter milan is hardly getting Nigel De Jong.. i think Nigel De Jong is interested moving to Inter Milan.. he have a dutch footballer friends in Inter Milan like Wesley Sneijder but he did not want to reduce his salary..
