Football In LA (Los Angeles)? Which Team is Coming?

We've been without a NFL team in Los Angeles for way too long. How can this city not have a football team? Rumors of stadiums being built and more rumors of who might come out here. I say start a whole new team from scratch even though that might make the number of teams an off/odd number. Who wants to come down or over here? Rams? Bills? Or my fave for now, the Seattle Seahawks? Woo hoo!!

I think the smart money would be on the Raiders or the Rams, but it almost looks as though the NFL is more determined to get a franchise in London before they head back to L.A. As long as my Steelers stay where they are, I'll be happy....LOL

Yeah, I think the Rams should come home -- even though they have a losing record. If the Steelers ever moved you'd have a riot on your hands. I don't think the city would ever let them go anywhere.

It would be quite a challenge to have an expansion franchise join the NFL at this point. For one thing, it would unbalance the conferences because they each have 16 teams as is. Add that to the fact that it would have all the costs associated with starting a new franchise as opposed to bringing in an existing one.
I think it will be the Rams that move for a few reasons. First, they cancelled the games they were going to play in London in 2013 and 2014. While this may not be directly related, I think there's a good chance that it is. Second, St. Louis is more of a baseball team with the Cardinals there anyway. I think LA would embrace them coming back and the Rams could build a strong fanbase there.

Yes, I think the NFL commissioner already shot us down with the expansion franchise option. I didn't know the Rams cancelled those games in London. And I for one would love to see them back even though they've been struggling these last few years. The Rams probably still have a fanbase here.
