Online training seminars

I just got a pile of emails from my boss this evening. Its online training for my new job. The other girl I work with talks about how education it is, and helpful it is. So I cant wait to start it up.

That is really cool that they do offer you online training for your job, I think that is something that is seriously lacking in many situations. Now, what I feel inclined to ask is whether or not you will be compensated for the time that you will spend doing the online training? When I worked at the hospital we were always paid for all of the job training that we did and I thought that was a great thing because there were some programs that took several hours to get done.

I never asked to be honest but I will ask. I know all my other jobs always paid us, or didnt train us at all. But its nice we can do it on our own time, but again it costs for the internet and time.

Wow! This is a good start for you ricki! I also attended several seminars so far but never an online one. I hope you could get additional knowledge from this seminar which will help you as you go along with your new job.
