Would you purchase pixels?

When I mean pixels, I mean online game money, Facebook credits, clip art, virtual pets, virtual avatars and etc.
Would you use real money to buy them? Or do you think they are a waste of money?
For me I would never purchase anything like that because I don't see the point of it. You can only use it temporarily and only on that site itself where you purchase it. And you can't resell or exchange it back to real money.

That seems ridiculous if you ask me. Why would you need to buy something like that? I have never been a real gamer or anything like that, though, and I don't spend a lot of time on Facebook so maybe that's it! It seems like a waste of money if you ask me though. I'm surprised there are people out there who WILL buy that kind of thing!

That's why online gaming becomes a business and a great way to earn money. Although I would rather purchase a full offline pc game than buy a pixel clothes/weapons/armor/currency and so on.

I never tried buying those things online. Although I also play some games which we are given an option to use real money, I have not done those things. Well, during those times that I was playing such kind of games, I don't have a credit card and paypal yet.

There is no way i will buy such things because it is seriously pointless. Just the thought of using my hard earned money on these things that don't get me anything in the end is painful. However, there are some virtual things that can be resold at higher price. This, i will buy and sell just to get the profit. Other than that i will not buy anything that cant be used.

In a way, I do purchase virtual premium cash for games, but it's not how most would think of it as the convenient use of the Credit Card or PayPal. It's a very long and complicated process, but I use a site to earn their virtual points and then convert it into a prize. That prize typically means the virtual premiums.
In reality though, buying something virtual from a game is a waste of money. Though it may support a group, you might as well buy a better game that's worth supporting rather than "donate" to a group that will make your virtual life temporarily better in separate ways.

I had several time experience to buy some equipment for my role in the online game,if I do not buy those dummy equipment I can not keep play that online game at all cause I can not beat anyone in that online game.I play that online game for a 3-4 years and it is hard for me got get rid of it,but now I get rid of it finally and I realise that online game not only waste your money but also waste your time,even do harm to your health,so we should never immerse in online game.
