In my country, I think I have never seen a hooded motorcycle on the road ( a motorcycle/scooter with a cover on top ) and I wonder why it's not popular. For one, it would be a great protection whenever it's raining or when the sun is too hot to bear. Another thing is that I felt it's a safer motorcycle to use due to it's more protected design. When it comes to looks, I like it better than non hooded motorcycle because it seems to have a more complete parts. I want to buy a hooded scooter/motorcycle someday and would be proud to use it anywhere and I think it would be great to experience rainy season without fear of getting wet ( or at least get wet minimally ) and all the benefits I mentioned beforehand. How about you, do you like the design of hooded motorcycles/scooters or you prefer one that isn't hooded? Why?

The reason that they have never been popular is because they are much more dangerous. The cover is a serious danger in crosswinds and cannot really protect you very much against the weather if you are to have full access for legs and arms at the sides (which you must have). You would be much more likely to suffer serious damage in an accident if you were not easily able to fall away from the bike.
