I went to see the original Dark Knight in theaters 4 times. Then when it came out on DVD I bought it. I didn't like it on DVD because after seeing it so much in theaters it just didn't seem right without the surround sound.

I enjoy watching both, the theater is a lot of fun and movies look awesome on the big screen, but I also enjoy watching it on TV in my room where I'm comfortable.

I am fortunate enough to have a home theater with a huge LED screen so the experience is similar to the movies. Except of course if the movie was in 3D hehe.. But I think it's all the same. This is the main reason why we got the home theater in the first place. There will be movies that are worth watching on the big silver screen while there are those where the home theater would be enough. Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

Oh, i think it just depends on the person, I buy the dvd if i watched the movie in the theaters and i really loved it, since i want to watch it over and over again.. think i did that with GI Joe. But the without the surround sound,it was less good.

It happened to me too. I watched spiderman 3 and MIB 3 (3D) on theater, but when I watched it on dvd it went so boring. I was used to watching them in the theater wearing 3D glasses - it was so great! It makes me wanna buy a home theaters and 3D things to be able to play the movies :D
