happy to rejoin your old friends again at a moment

my friends before in the office called me early today over cellphone that we have to go to the house to attend a fiesta party. at first i hesitated because i am bit busy, i need to finish my portfolio for midterm requirement. but at a second thought, i do not want to disappoint my friends for not coming. so hurriedly taking my bath, get dressed and ride a utility public vehicle. i am too lucky that the route of the vehicle was the same as mine, so considered being lucky at that.
as i reached inside the house, did hugging and asking how each one of us are doing. in God's grace, we are thankful that everyone is all fine. so then, telling of stories, of whereabouts and such and such making the meeting lively and fun. so i can say that it is fun to be with your old friends once more at the moment even parting ways when the celebration has to end

Its nice to spend time with old friends especially when you seldom see each other. And its even better when all of you are doing fine. It makes us feel better after seeing old faces. I love to go out also with old friends and everytime we do that we always have so much fun.

right at that, of course we are coping with life even how tough would be and striving hard to make it okay. and good for that you have good friends to hang with and have fun with them. friends and like plants, they need to have a visitation to see the condition of each. and a constant meeting with them will make the bond more stronger.

Yes I feel happy if old friends meet me. Because old friend are not meeting more time specially after marriage we can meet our old friend like college or tution class friends.

oh yes, it is really a happy moment when you and old friends agreed each one to have a meeting as for getting together again after long periods of time. you will get excited of their new whereabouts and what the are doing in their lives at the moment. it is nice to interact with them again and shared laughters and joys even so.

Well, I must say that reading your thread, I had a little sense of melancholy for my old friends from the past.
Despite a day of today we have sites such as Facebook, which allow us to get in touch with people who may not see each other anymore for many years, I must say that in my case I have never been able to make a meeting with them.
You know everyone has got their own way. There are those who are married and have a family, there are those who work, or simply there are those who are not interested in making a group briefing.
I am sorry! You however did very well to take part in that party!

no need to say sorry friend. there are really people so busy tending with their own lives and not be able to organize some meetings with old friends. in my case, i consider myself being busy because of my studies. instead of going out, i want to earn some penny in here for my miscellaneous expenses. and if i cannot received any invitation i will not going to visit them. but there were cases during especial occasions that it was me who invited them to have dinner or lunch together. and we can communicate faster because there is facebook or cellphone for communication purposes. i love my friends, they are pillar as i worked in an office before. they love me too, for sure and i know much they care for me. i am so thankful with God about that of having friends like them because they are precious to me like gems or priceless stones.

oh yes, you are indeed right. they are special friends and old comrades. somehow you are part of their lives and vice versa. they still care for you because even you and them living in separate ways, they want to see you still and acquaint with you again.

yes sishy, a certain place of three different locations are having their fiesta celebration honoring their patron in their church today. yeah, right at that, they prepared lots of foods or food for visitors or fiesta goers. it is one of the traditions of catholic people in our country. some of them will celebrate the season in a grandeur manner. come here and let us eat.
oh, before i forgot, this is the best time of unison of relatives who lived from a far place and or of the members of the family who went far for a job or living already having a family of their own away from parents and relatives. tradition of the filipinos to say

I miss going to fiestas; it's been a long time since I've been in one. Our place in Manila does not observe fiesta that much, same as where I live now. Usually, provinces have the most colorful and festive fiestas. I love taking pictures of parades, bands, street dancers and the different local foods and dishes.
I hope this year hubby and I will be able to attend one.

i guess most of the provinces celebrate fiesta with so much vigor and preparations in a grandeur manner. before fiesta day, lots of games were being held such as: basketball and volleyball leagues, pageants, singing contests, parlor games and such to make the event so vivacious. there are dance, cheering, street dancing competitions as well. and the streets being hanged with colorful banderitas. and people are preparing something to eat for the visitors even they need to borrow money from others just to celebrate the fiesta like that (and i guess not good for filipinos to be like that because that is already out from practicality reasons).... thanks
