Envious people are everywhere.

I think envy is a natural part of the human psyche. Even if we don't admit, we get jealous of others' love life, fame, success, wealth. I see nothing wrong with it. As long as a person doesn't act on it. Bringing someone down bexause of pure envy, defaming someone, sabotaging someone or telling how they don't deserve their success is a really mean thing. These people should really move on to improve their lives - they are not going to be more successful in the long run, even if they succeed in bringing these people down.

I think it is just human nature to be envious of others, but it is how far people take it that makes it bad. Some people let it consume their lives. They want what others have so bad that they stop actually working for it themselves and just sit around thinking how much better someone else has it than they do. I am envious of others, but I have decided that if I want all the things they have I have to earn it. I am in college and working a full time job to get the things I want.

Yes, people now a days get envious for the pettiest of things. While all of us are a bit jealous at times, it becomes bad when the jealousy exceeds certain limits and decency that it annoys me. May be, it is a result of growing greed and lowered morality in society. And I thought that it happens more in India, but seems like a worldwide issue.

Good day to you Angel Karah. That's really so common nowadays, having some envious people around. I don't have much idea why some people are living their lives envying other people. They should mind their own business and do their own things so they would achieve what they want to have and they won't envy others with their good lives. They should focus their minds on what they wanted to do. They should make themselves busy so they won't have any time enying other people's lives. Maybe it's okay to feel envy sometimes, but you shouldn't do anything bad to the person you are envious with. Yes, sometimes, some people couldn't help themselves of being envious but instead, they should do their best to work hard so they could succeed like others. They should do some things which could make their time useful. :)

I have wrote an article regarding this attitude. Envy doesn't always mean bad- envious may turn into inspiration same with anger,self pity and other negative actions. but of course that depends on the person. It is always bad to envy things that belongs to others and steal it. but for other people, feeling envy inspire them to strive hard to achieve a greater goal more than the other person. It is turning a negative emotions into positive outcome.

Oh its everywhere. And i will be a hypocrite if Ill say I never feel envious sometimes. But well im not the kind of envious person that think of others fall. I envy when i heard other peoples success stories, but my envy is not poisonous.. as a matter of fact i utilize it as my inspiration to do best so I will also reach my success.
