Putting money in a trust fund

Hi there guys, Well money is an issue for me as you all know me where my money goes and for some who don't am still paying of a big debt but optimistic to finish in due time anyway i thought i have savings that i can pull out anytime but i wish that i could have some money when i retire so i researched and ask my wise about aunt about it and she said put your money in a trusty big bank as a trust fund nor mutual fund then forget about it for 25 years then see you will have money when you retire so i did and hopefully someday I can cash in big time, City bank was my choice but am also planning on putting money in HSBC.
