Do you feel this way when you are reading?

It always happens to me whenever I am touched with what I am reading. Something in my head like electric current is moving gradually in my whole head just for a few seconds and it will be gone... I don't know if I described it exactly but it's like the numbness you can feel in your legs for a long sitting position, something like that. Do you think it's normal to feel this way? I want to know if you also experience the same whenever you are touched with what you read.
I also feel this strange thing in my head whenever someone tells me a very touching story. Your views please.

"chills" or "butterflies" it's just a feeling you get when something you're reading touches you deeply in one way or another. Yes i've felt it before. It's like a tingling up your spine, in your head, you smile or cry whatever the book causes you to feel.
It's normal, and I am sure many others have also felt this way before.

well I'm glad you also feel this way. It seems we both have a soft heart when it comes to stories that could touch our heart. so what do you think of other people who don't feel this way. insensitive or we are just too emotional. I don't know but I'm glad I'm not alone who feel this way.
