Good day Fellow Mylotters, Just a quick one, as I can't really find a good reason as to why there are some people who are not brushing their teeth after taking their meal. Like for example, after a breakfast. Since they have eaten and take some food, sometimes there are some small particles left in between of their tooth. Hence, its kind an awkward thing when you look at the person talking especially if you are in the office. That his teeth has some small particles in-between.

hi, i always bring my tooth brush at office because i always brush my teeth after eating my lunch and even before i go home, especially if the food i eat is really smelly, and aside from that i am shy to smile or talk to other people or co-employee when i have some small particles in between of my teeth.

Toothbrush habits in general are taught by parents since childhood, and was brought up to the old. I think you're right. After eating it is important to brush your teeth, to keep teeth healthy.

Okay, let me share my point of view on the topic. Simply, taking your question literary. There are really many good reasons why people don't brush their teeth after each meal. Time constraint, eating in a restaurant, or dining outside, or simply to busy at work that they forgot to brush their teeth and many more. In this case, even the most hygienic person will sometimes forgot to do it. For instance in my office, sometimes I really forgot or intended not to brush my teeth simply because of a report I need to finish. I just take a quake lunch and return to it without even go to the toilet. The good thing about my co-workers is that they or I will not hesitate to tell someone that a chunk of food was stuck on his/her teeth. Of course it will be a burst of laughter and a little loss of dignity to that person but we had learned to be with each other and can tell anything we like. But there are exemption of it. Like when we go to bed. My wife really know if I had brush my teeth and would burst into anger if I skip it. But no matter what it is, its all about being hygienic and sometimes a little too conscious about our body in which we learn to make it a habit. For those who don't, then its a lost on them.

"Clean your mouth and your teeth and then talk to me!" that's happen to my life, dear

They're nothing but lazy. Seeing those particles on their teeth, is gross. What's more gross is when their mouth would smell.

I don't always brush my teeth right after I eat. Sometimes I'm not at home and I don't want to carry around a toothbrush and toothpaste and brush them in a gross public bathroom. I usually brush my teeth right when I wake up, sometimes in the middle of the day, and at night before I go to bed. I'm pretty sure I don't have food particles in between my teeth because I make sure to check. If I ever feel like I have something caught in a tooth, I go to the bathroom and do a quick floss

hehe,i think most of people know that brushing teeth after meal is a good habit to our health, but sometimes there are some conditions limit, for example,we eat breakfast or lunch outdoors and after breakfast or lunch we have to go to office, most of my office mates don't brush teeth after breakfast and lunch, they just make simple gargle, there are no toothbrush in office,it is very common phenomenon.

I had a former officemate once, he asked why we (me and some work pals) always brush our teeth after lunch,. I asked, why not? And he said, that he can always brush his teeth when he gets home. (Gah!) Maybe laziness, or they think they don't have the time to bother with it?

sometimes when toothbrushes are left at home and you are at work, you may not have that chance; or you eat out so you just look for a toothpick or a dental floss. But not brushing after eating at home is already being lazy. In my opinion, brushing should be a good post-meal habit.
