Open rebuke..... is better than a secret Love!

Many people tried to tell lied just to protect their love ones feelings. Sometimes we think that telling the truth may hurt the person we love and it's hard to do it. Actually, telling the truth is a simple thing to do once we form the habit. Though, it's not very easy at first but it just requires a step. It is not always pleasant to know the truth, and it is never easy to tell others bad things that are true. But the harmful consequences are still minor compared to the distortions,confusions and complications that result from the untruth. "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive" this old saying is obviously correct. I also like what the Bible said: "open rebuke is better than a secret love" it's better to know the painful truth than a flatter lies. Have you ever being flattered by someone? or have you flattered someone just to protect their feelings?

Yes I did several times. I don't have to tell a friend he's annoying. So i'd rather make up excuses and more lies not to talk to him. I would rather have him realize the truth and stop talking to me than telling him directly that he's no fun to talk to at all.

yeah you are right but it is so hard to tell the truth sometimes and many people are accustomed to lies in their lives that 99% of what they speak is a lie.. And lie to this degree is bad. Now for me I have lied to some people when it comes to choosing clothes especially when me and my cousin went shopping and I was deciding on what was looking good her, then it came a moment where she loved one dress and was really in love with it and then I did not like that one, so for her sake i said I liked it too. So these incidents are common with me and I guess it is okay if I don't tell the truth. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
