What the lie can bring?

Lie, what a short word yet brings a longer explanation. Lie is easy to do but difficult to correct. Lying is the number one reason why people lost trust. It is like gambling, why? because every time you lie, you always take chances on being caught. Their are many reasons why people lies most common reason that people lie is to avoid confrontation. Getting in trouble is never fun, but lying to avoid it is always a "band-aid" solution. When the truth comes out the confrontation is guaranteed to be even more unpleasant than it would have been without the lie. A lie makes the situation worst; it doesn't solve it. Another common reason why people lie is to make themselves seem "better" or more interesting than they are. This sort of lying can be a sign of low self-esteem, problems at home or depression. But, what's the saddest thing about lie is this when you try to lie on yourself. That's the worst lie and not only that when you also lie to others you also lie to yourself and the result would be this: you might not believe yourself anymore :(

When you are a righteous person lying is not your common word to live.Liars are persons who do not do good to all concern because they lie in accordance to their needs,in accordance to the persons they like to be protected,so they are the trouble maker.The best thing to do to them is to put them to jail,so that all that they are protecting will be jailed,too.The lies that anyone tries to tell just make the place chaotic,so better stop it by giving the correct guidelines and make the liar pay in the greatest jaws of the law,so no one would replace in his deeds.

berting, I can feel your feeling of hating lie so much. That is indeed good to hate lie is the best weapon to be honest. Well, regarding about the people who are telling lies we can do nothing about it, even if we will tell to the authorities about his being a liar it takes a lot of time and effort just to put that person to jail. I think the best thing to do is to be honest with ourselves and try to teach to the liars to be honest enough.

That is really true that telling the truth could set you free.You could still gain some enemies because you tell the truth,yet you win more friends because you tell no lies.

That's exactly the best regard you can have if you tell the truth. You win a true friends by telling the truth not only true friends but happiness and freedom. And if you tell a lie you win a fake friends and is always having no peace of mind; wondering what if they will find out my lies.

Hi,
You are right. It is very easy to tell lie but difficult to correct it. The people who are liar have to remember all his lies because they are afraid of exposing their lie. We can not hide the truth. Sometimes truth has thorns like roses but it has endurance. The person who is honest in his life and never lies is always blessed by God. God always remains with him.

One man's lie is another's judgment call, or so says the man who would be our next Prime MInister. This, of course, means that the other side lies but his side makes judgment calls, whatever the hell that means. Well, of course on one level it means he's a lying hypocrite, but whatever.
If you want a primer on how to lie, just have a close look at your politicians, and it doesn't matter which ideology because they almost all lie, oh, sorry, make judgment calls lol.

grandpa_lash, thanks for the point of view that you've shared. Yah, most people said if you want to see people lying then look at the politicians as well as lawyers, that's sounds being prejudice though most of them lie but I believe some of them are living the truth. All people lie, and they tried their best to do everything to create the best lie they could ever have, but some people who lied also are doing their best to make themselves free from lies. To live in the truth.

A lie is a temporary solution but could give a lifetime scar.
I have lied several times and sometimes I wish I haven't. It really does take a lot of effort to correct those lies. So to live a better life, just live up to the truth. Difficult but easier to deal with in the long run.

toni, right indeed that lie is a temporary solution; yet it results last for long. Sometimes people tend to lie because they are afraid to be hurt, to be scolded, to be put to shame. There are times also they lie because that's the way they are or that's how they make things easier. But whatever the reason is, it's always right to live up to the truth for have a brighter future.

White lie can be fine as long as it will benefits the majority. Bad lies are not good, it could lead to destroy the dignity of an innocent souls.

White lie I've always heard that word but I don't totally and fully understand that kind of lie. I mean how and when we can tell that, that is a white lie? I think whether is white or black as long as it is a lie then it's a lie and it will bring no good.

a three word where we fall short for the Glory of God. Even before in the time of Adam and Eve, they already committed a sin and after that incident which was record in the bible it spreads up from generation to generation and up to the present. Sometimes in our life we can even lie just to get satisfied and get what you want but it is not right in the sight of God because the more you committ sin through a lie, your throwing yourself into the pit of hell prepared by the devils.

Purenergy, you are right lie happened in our generation Adam and Eve, Eve tried to lie to God because she's afraid to be found out that she disobeyed God but before disobeying God lied happened. She said to the serpent " from every fruit of the garden we can eat from it but for the tree of knowledge which is in the middle we can not eat from it nor touch it." that's a lie! God never said don't touch He said don't eat just that. But, she lied and sin happen. Thank you so much purenergy for letting me remember this things.

very well said bethelsophia. Lies bring bad effect in the long run. So it is better not to lie but this world is full of lies. Okay but once one starts to lie to themselves and that is the most dangerous lie ever. Yah, lying to ourselves is the most dreadful lie we can ever commit in our entire life. The saddens thing to happen into our life is when tried not to believe ourselves anymore and that's what we called misery!
