i watched a program in the television and my attention was caught by there health segment about thinning of hair of an 8 yrs. old girl. what?! in an early age there is a manifestation of hair loss. i know it is an adult major problem of thinning hair, but for a child it a no, no. according to the program the reason why there is a manifestation of thinning of hair is because of hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiency, stress, and dandruff?....it is very uncommon that we hear this kind of news. what's your insights?

Alopecia, hair loss, can affect little children and adults alike. I know a young girl with alopecia. She lost all of her hair and has to wear a wig. Kids at school who know her make fun of her.
