Once again, Arsenal lost their star

These are worrying times for Arsenal because they are losing to many good players and they arent really being replaced properly Song was a very good (and underated) player for Arsenal. I know a lot of their friends and a lot of them think that Wenger should maybe think about stepping down. But i do think that Wilshere is a good replacement for Song.

Surely this will make Arsenal more concerned with the state of their club because they have been left behind by 2 great players, after RVP move to rival club Mancehster United now Alex Song has costumed 25 Barcelona. This mreupakan bad news for Arsenal fans. But I think Diaby will be able to replace the role of Alex Song, Diaby is experienced and good in attack as well as defend.

The two players involved in probably Arsenal's goal of the year last year, Song and RVP are now no longer Gunners. Yesterday, Arsene Wenger confirmed that Alex Song is moving to Barcelona for 19 million Euros. What that means is that for the 7th consecutive year, Arsenal has come out of a transfer window having made a financial profit. How it has affected the game on the title is for all to see as 6 trophyless season looks to become 7th this year!! Alas, Arsenal is now a selling club!! Cheers! Ram

On the short term it will be very hard to replace these two players, but on the long term Arsene Wenger will find solutions and these two will be forgotten. Of course, RVP and Song were exponential players, but there was life before them and there will be life after them as well. Let's not forget that Arsenal has bought some great players this summer, like Cazorla, Podolski and Giroud. Personally, I consider that Cazorla will soon be a pulling force in the team of Wenger and will be able to put a major contribution to the team's performances, like he previously did at Villareal and Malaga. We will see how Podolski will adapt to a totally new life for him and the same can be said about Giroud as well. If they will feel good at Arsenal, then they will score lots of goals and RVP will be rarely remembered by the fans. As for the replacement of Song, I think a tactical change will solve the problems.

Wenger is a smart 'professor' I think. He usually managed to make his club competitive enough, even when he was abandoned by most of his key players. He would make a replacement for the player, or he would make a tactical change. But indeed, it would seem to be end with the same result: trophyless. Poor Arsenal, or should we say, poor Wenger?

Hello adhyz82, yes Arsenal lost both Van Persie and Alex Song. I think it will really affect their performance in this season. But it is a good news for both the Manchester United and Barcelona fans. They got another super class player .
