I just saw the rerun of the old version of Two and a Half Men of when Alan was dating the very hot and young Candy and it hit home a little bit. This episode was when Candy's car had caught fire and Alan had it towed to a repair place. The repair guy referred to Candy as Alan's daughter and Alan was quick to correct him and say she wasn't his daughter to which the repair guy said "good for you." It came out that Candy was 22 and she added 22 and a half. The way it hit home for me is that at one time in my life I was dating a girl who was around 22 and a half and I was 11 years older than her, not the twice as old as Alan was said to be on the show. While the girl I was dating was not quite as hot as Candy, she certainly wasn't as dumb as the character of Candy is depicted as being. She could at times look much younger than she was. Anyway we both worked at the same large company that had its own cafeteria and I was having breakfast there one day when a guy I knew came in and mention that my girlfriend had been involved in a car wreak not far from where we worked. So I got in my car and drove to the place and when she saw me she ran over to me obviously not hurt but scared and upset, which made her look really young, and I was very worried which made me look older. Then someone there, maybe a cop, said don't worry your daughter isn't hurt and I, of course, corrected him by saying she isn't my daughter. Thus the connection between my real life experience and that episode of Two and a Half Men.

That's funny! Never had that happen, but I can see it happening.
