Hi friend, good to hear about this, wish you to learn cooking from your mum and do a lot of delicious dishes. Most of the modern girls are not interested in learning cooking, but you are interested in helping your mum in your holidays, really it is a great thing. In my childhood days, i too helped a lot to my mum and watch her cooking activities

Before I got married, I used to spend alot of time with my mum. We would go shopping together or do some house chores together. Sometimes I do really miss those times since now I have to do it by my own.

hi, i think you are enjoying your moment while cooking with your mom, most of the girls are not interested in cooking these, but seems you are enjoying this, great to hear that, i have some with my mom, most of the times she only cooks , but i do help her sometimes, especially during festivals, where we have to prepare lot of dishes, the traditional ones, which takes lot of time. enjoy your day..

Recently I only had short bonding times with my mother as I spend most of my time working and studying. We sometimes eat together while watching television.

It is indeed a good opportunity to learn from your mom. When my mom visits my place she doesn't allow me to enter the kitchen and so I don't get an opportunity to learn from her practically. She does dictates the recipe over phone when I call and ask her. I mostly learned cooking from my room mate and my maternal aunt. Mom teaches me things only over phone. I don't remember a single occasion when I have cooked along with my mom. :D

I love cooking with my mom too, we used to cook together during special occasion and when we started our little canteen in the our hometown. She taugh me a lot about food preparation, proper cutting of the vegetables and proper cooking methods including her secret recipes. She is a very good cook even though she only learned it from her mother who is a great cook. Also some of our bonding moments are shopping and eating, I wish my mom will come here in the city to visit us so that we can bond again and I miss her so much.

Hi savagecabbage! My mom and I don't bond a lot, I'm quite busy at work and with other activities but I do always look forward to spend time with her. She's also a great cook! A creative one.. Our bonding time usually takes place when we are watching some news and her favorite teleserye. We also spend time together whenever she lets me put the thread on the needle she's going to use in stitching. Enjoy the time with your mom!
