well me and my hhusband decided to have a yard sale and get rid of things we did not need so saturday we had one and I told him I would be glad to make $5.00 just to have some gas money and I did not really advertise but we ended up making $37.35 dollars for 5 hours and sombody told me that I would not make that much and what I was wondering is how much you have ever made from a yard sale??

We live in an area where garage saling is almost a sport. So we do very well. This last sale we had I sold both used items and some of my Avon products. Avon wise I made about $80, junk wise about $45. Not my best sale. The best sale we ever sis we made over $400 in a few hours! We also sell hot dogs and soda at ours and do it with another family.

It is good that in your place there are people who buy from yard sale. I wish i could also have a yard sale. I have plenty of clothes i don't wear already and its making my cabinet full that there's no room for new clothes anymore. This week end i plan to take those clothes out of my cabinet and give them to my fellow Filipinos who were flood victims. I will also ask my daughter to give away some of her old clothes so that our cabinet will look orderly.
