I am back to being a student

Hey friends,
I completed post-graduation last year and spent a long time at home, several months actually, waiting for the B.Ed forms to be given out by colleges in which I could apply. Now I have taken admission in Calcutta University for the Bachelor of Education degree and this course is a professional one as they said, and its duration is approximately a year. The professors on the very first day told us that it is going to be real hard work for all of us as it involves a lot of practicals involving teaching in schools as well as theory learning for exams. There will be making of charts and models as teaching aids etc.
I am prepared to work hard as I really want to get this degree. Without it, one can hardly hope to get a good job as a teacher here. My classes began last week and I feel so different as I am back to being a student.
So long, I had been doing freelance and other work online as well as spending much time here at Mylot.
I do feel as the pressure will increase, I will be able to devote less time here. In fact, on all days that I came back home after those long hours of class, I felt exhausted and could hardly come here. But still I tried to come and post. I really will miss Mylot if I cannot come here as I used to. But I am hopeful that when I get this degree and finally a job, my schedule will permit me to be active here. I really do want to stick to this community for many years to come.

Congratulations, on your decision. As of September 10th I will also be a student, again.
I'll be taking creative computer classes like graphic design and Photoshop.
I feel very blessed to have this opportunity, as well.

Being a student would be the best part of anyone life's were you will meet different kind of people and enjoy all the silly thing and pressured also terror teachers were our patience will be tested specially taking any degree, but instead of focusing those negative thing learn to enjoy and love to be a student cause it takes a lot of any person to study. Have a enjoyable days as student life :D

I completely agree with your thoughts. We can certainly find different people to interact with and our learning experience is enriched as we move along in this journey.Terror teachers are I suppose there in every course!
We have got one such professor who told us on the first day that she will ask us questions randomly from whatever has been taught in class. I envy you, my friend-- I have been cheated out of a college education by life three times :-). You are so very fortunate, and so very wise to take the chance and go for it! I know you'll do great, and become an even better person than you are already.
Keep logging in, and when you get the chance, take a minute to let us all know what's up! I, for one, would love to know what college is like, since I won't get to go-- all my friends who do, and all my various kids keep me informed. The degree and the success you get will be well worth it in your future, and MyLot will be here when you have time for it :-)

congratulation on completion of post graduation and joined for B.Ed , yes i know about this degree, this one year course have lot of practical work and you have to take several classes in different school and writing notes, preparing charts etc etc, there are lot of my friends are B.Ed teachers, after completing this you will get lecturer job,so all the best , remember after completing your B.Ed and after getting the job ,you have to give big treat to us,have a nice day.

That's great that you are furthering your education, and striving to become a teacher. I know how much you enjoy being active here on Mylot from our conversations that we've had. I'm sure that you will still find time to get on Mylot, you'll just have to manage your time more better. Your education and schooling is way more important than Mylot, but I know that you're already aware of that. I am working on my post-graduate studies as well.
I am studying English-Rhetoric and Composition, Literature, and TESL. I love learning and I love teaching. I actually did some teaching this summer, and I will be tutoring students as I am continuing my education.
I hope that everything goes well for you, and it will all be worth it in the end. When you get that degree, it will be the most exhilarating feeling in the world.

I actually completed my graduation, which is a 3 year degree course for us, and thereafter I completed post graduation which is a 2 year course. Now I am doing the B.Ed course which will last for about a year, but not more. I do hope to come here whenever I can manage. Thank you for your wishes friend.Yeah, I always have that in focus - gaining more knowledge. I guess education actually never stops. We keep learning till we perish. I was actively Mylotting so long and so it feels different not to be able to come here like that. Today is an Eid holiday, so I am here for more time.

First, i want to congradulate on your good performance. I believe it must be a long and hard journey to you. But if you stick to the end, you will also acheive a lot. In today's society, to get a good job is really not easy. And for me, you got a wonderful life which i often dream for. Because my biggest hope in my life is ro have a chance to study in a top class school. But this dream seems so bleak and i feel somewhat disappointed. so cherish the life you own ,that's amazing. Here in my place, getting jobs is tough even for those with qualifications since most are qualified but not enough jobs are available. Do not be disheartened my friend. Congratulations on taking the next step in furthering your goals and education. When you complete the course, you will really have a nice accomplishment. As for mylot, come when you need a respite, stay few minutes and then leave to come back later. My lot is not going anywhere. You, on the other hand have a wonderful journey ahead.
