Cast to be released soon, but this one...already here..should be interesting! Do you remember Lisa Whelchel from Facts of Life? She is one of the survivors! Finally, someone without a dirty, cussing mouth!

I was surprised when I read about her, but dismayed when I read about Jeff Kent. I'm a big baseball fan, so I was familiar with him. He's a liar to look out for. When he played for the San Fransisco Giants he broke his wrist. He told management it was from washing his truck. But the Giants found out it was because he had a wreck on a motorcycle. And riding a motorcycle was against the contract he signed. So look out for him. He always had trouble getting along with his teammates as well. I've only ever watched one season of Survivor, but I might watch it to root for Lisa.

I am not into sports...didn't know Kent. Odd that they have a few celebrities on now..not sure if I like that way. IT's more for regular people, celebrities have enough of the lime light! But odds are Lisa won't last long...she is a "nice" person and those kind don't last on Survivor! Plus...she won't be wearing a string bikini and letting everything hang out for the entire world to see like every woman ever been on the show has!!!

True. I wonder how long Jeff Kent will last. If there are any guys who even watch baseball casually in the past, they will know who he is. I hope they don't get caught up in thinking he's "cool", and they should keep him around. He's a grade A jerk.

I am not up on baseball anymore so I don't know him, but yeah...good chance he'll get voted out early because of "who" he is. In the past they don't like that kind of a challenge...a "nobody" vs. a celebrity person. Interesting to see if the same thing happens to Lisa...good chance it will.

Oh this should be an interesting season. I really like Lisa Whelchel. I am excited to see how she does on the Survivor journey. So many contestants and so much back stabbing. It will be good to see how someone like Whelchel (married to a Pastor and religious) does against some of the more get to the top at any cost type players.

I agree, but I think she will probably be voted of early for that exact reason. Seems the whole "how to" of survivor has changed..and it isn't in how you survive..it is in how well you lie, back stab and fight and bicker! It that isn't in her nature...no one is going to want her around...however it could back fire and they keep her around because they know she will be honest and they won't have to worry about her back stabbing them! Now that could be, if they'd just stop and think about it!

You know what? I heard that the crew just finished shooting another season here in the Philippines. If so, then the cast may have just experienced last month's brutal monsoon rains, which brought days of winds and instant floods not only here in Metro Manila, but also in other provinces. Something to look forward to!

Are you talking about Season 26 that is shot in Philippines?
I don't see this woman on the cast.
I'm a bit confused. I think people are talking about different Survivor Seasons here, at once.

It is in hte Phillipines, but Idon't know the season number...probably up there around 26 tho...2 seasons per year since debut in 2000.
This is the one coming up september 16th. WOrd has it that she hasn't "divulged" her acting past on the show...remember this was filmed and game is over before they air it...so it has been awhile..maybe many didn't know who she was.

The season you might be watching is survivor 24, we are one season late here in the Phillippines, survivor 25 will air in September and survivor 26 will air in february and both of those seasons are shot in the Phillipines. Both season 25 and 26 were shot back to back, Only in different beaches. they are currently casting the season 27 cast, which will begin shooting after Jeff Probst talk show.,

It will be interesting and hopefully fun..someone that doesn't cuss and lie all the time..how refreshing!
