Hello friends, I know that children grow up and move away or leave for college or whatever life has to offer, but I am still sad to see my baby leave. She was given a wonderful opportunity to attend a new high school that will prepare her for college and the real working world.I know that this is a huge benefit for any young adult but it makes me realize how quick time flies and how important it is to really spend time with your kids. Sometimes we need to slow things down and just enjoy life.

When I fisr leave home , I miss my mother so much and I wanted to see her every weekend . Now I am in another country hardly ever see her but we keep in touch and I always have her in my prayer and she do the same . I have a very close relationship with my mother and even though I will never live back at home , I will always keep in touch and whenever we call each other its like nothing has change we just talk and laugh as we normally do . My fiance would some time ask if I talk to my mother because he know we are close . I miss my mother a lot more than my father . So spend time with your hid and that way when the time comes for them to spread their wings , you will still be apart of their life .

Thank you for responding! My daughter and I are also very close and it is so nice to know that you still keep in touch with your mom and you to are so far away. I hope that our close relationship will still be as strong as it is now. I pray that she grows up well and lives life to the fullest and I try very hard to let her know that no matter what I will always support and be there for her. I want her to spread her wings and be the person I know she will be. Thanks again for sharing your relationship with me, it helps me knowing that you and your mom are still close no matter what.

Don't be so sad krupar. Just think of the benefit it would bring to her career. I know the feeling because I am also a mother. But we have to be strong and keep on the positive side. Cheer up!

Thank you for replying. I am trying to be strong. I know that they need to grow and even though I have more children it is still hard to let them go. The benefits this will give her are wonderful and as her mom I know that this is the best for her. I will be happy because she needs me to see that I support her decision. Thanks again!
