Is it just me or is myLot kind of ugly to look at?

My thoughts on myLot are that the layout is poor, and the font is pretty terrible too. I feel like I'm looking at a personal website from the 90s. What do you guys think?

It's low-frills to promote functionality. If there were a lot of background images or specialized fonts or high resolution graphics, it wouldn't function as well and run more slowly. Even as it is I see people complaining that it loads slowly or not at all.

I get that, but at the same time I think it still could have been more elegant while still being more minimalist. Everything seems so haphazard. It took me 20 mins to find the "new discussion" button at the top which is in tiny font. Wouldn't it be easier if they didn't have all the pics of your interests loading?

Hmmm dont say mylot font or layout is ugly or poor. I like everything only color need means background should change because white background not good looking.
