Well, time to go back to my place of assignment. Tomorrow will be another working day. I don't feel like going. I wanted to spend more time with my family but there are things that I have to do. The training will soon to end in less than a month but I feel it is taking forever. If I could only stop the time. Have you ever been in this kind of situation wherein you wanted everything to stop so you could spend more time with your love ones?

Do we have a commitment in our family that we must face the responsibility, we might spend more time on work rather than family time but when we say 'Yes' to our family let it be and nothing could hinder from it specially when do you have child when you broke those trust they give even how much effort you give to forgive us when it broke they would expect that you weren't a man to do those what you've promise and bear in mind delayed promise were broken promised. settle a time that you have a family time and make it specially and simple don't waste every opportunity that has given to us.

Hi mike! Up to this time, I am still struggling between time for work and time for my family but hopefully, I could have enough time during this Christmas vacation so that I could spend more time with them. Thank you for sharing!

I feel like this quite often as I have 4 neices and nephews that I adore, who I get to see very seldom. Recently I was on a little trip with the 4 of them, my sisters and my mother and the 2 days we spent together went by so fast. Such is life I suppose, we have to do what we have to do.

Seems like all my life, ARIES, I have experience multiple situations that have taken me away from my family for what seemed an eternity. I use to be in the military and I suppose that was the worse. Now that I have a little more time, I am looking forward to my kids moving out on their own ( two down and one to go). Life is funny.

Hi roberten! Most of us have the same experience with regards to our family. Although I could say that I was able to move on already and that particular part of my life is over, I can say that still, I have to make the most of my time in order to give the best for my family. Thank you for sharing your opinion and have a nice day!

There are many times that I have felt the same way but unfortunately, time wait for no man and no matter how much you would like to hold back the time, it is not possible. Just try to keep yourself motivated.

Hi Mashnn! What you've said is right. We are not the one who control everything. We have to do what is needed just hope that things will be okay in time. I am glad I was able to survive that portion of my life. I owe part of that from you my friends here in myLot. Thank you for sharing and sorry for the late reply.

I do feel the same. I know the pain of parting from our loving family. I had only one son and he is working in other city. Actually he parted from us for last six years due to his higher education and then due to his job. As the parents we do miss him. So i can understand your feeling very well.Time doesn't stops for anybody and one has to go with this time always. Everybody feels that the time should stop at the happy moments. But it is a cycle. There is a bright sun after every night.

Hi roshigo! I remember the time when I have written this post. I was so depressed then. But everything is okay now and the things has gone back to nearly normal. It's hard to be separated from the family. Sometimes, I think of giving up but anyway, I made it to the last day. Maybe that is one reason why I have several posts where I was not able to make a response on time. I want to ask for apology for that. Have a nice day!

Yes, I've experienced such a situation. Even today, after five years of languishing (rather than prospering) in the same job owing to economic reasons and since there have been no financially rewarding alternatives, I still find it hard to get up in the morning to report for work and do no-brainer tasks. Yet it is something I need to do... to pay for bills, put food on the table, & so on, even as I keep hoping I can still get a better career break.

Hi jc! Because we want to give the best to them, we have to do everything including being away for sometime. Because this is part of the job, we have to do little sacrifices. Hopefully, time will come that I can be able to have more time to be spent with them. As of now, I just have to treasure every moment available. Thank you for sharing and sorry for the late reply. Have a nice day!

Well, the feeling that sometimes arise. But, we have to face reality, right? Time goes, without compromise. If you fall behind, then you should pursue it.

I actually don't believe that there is a person alive that hasn't had days or even months in their lives where they would really like to be able to stop the passage of time in their lives. It might be because they simply want to be able to spend more time with their family members or it might even be because they don't want to see their children or grandchildren grow up. However, I really do believe that you are not alone in feeling the way that you are feeling right now.

Hi doran! Thank you very much! Because of your response I was able to know that this particular post left unattended for quite sometime. I shared this discussion when I was a bit depressed because of the training I had undergone which required a lot of rules which is sometimes out of this world and unreasonable. Nevertheless, I was glad I was able to overcome it. Now everything was back to normal. I am still busy but I can already find time for my family. Thank you for sharing!

I am living with my (small neuclear)family and I used to leave the home in the morning and reach in the evening and on weekends I will be at home and this is the routine for the last 15 years or more, means I am ok with this. But when it comes to my expanded family, I alwsy think of take a leave of 1 month and need to visit all my family members like brothers, sisters, and other relatives who are living in different areas. And there are so many people I havn't met for 10-15 years and it is so bad to think. When I visited my native place last year and to attend a family wedding. I was introducing to many of my family members and I felt extremely bad that as being part of the family I was totally a stranger to many of the people and it is quite disturbing. Especially new born children, those who married and brought to our family are totally new to me. The main reason is that we may be visiting our native place 2-3 years time and may be it is for a week or 10 days and won't get enough time to visit everyone. Again, many people may be left the place and may be out of the place and whenever they are back at home, I won't be there. Such situations also make a huge gap among family members and because of these reasons, I used to think just take a months leave and visit all the people here and there.

There really comes a time when you want time to stand still just to be in a particular situation or event for a long time. But reality bites! We can only have so much. But nevertheless, we can always make each day special to be happy always. Cheers!

Hi jenny! Sometimes, discussions piled up one after the other and I don't know what happened that even though I tried my best to catch up with every discussion that I made, things happened the way I don't want it to be. Such as not being able to answer on time. My apology. Well, yes. We sometimes want to control the time because there are things we need to be done. But it is just not possible and we need to keep going. Anyway, that time has passed and I was able to survive it. Thank you for sharing!

Hi aries, i think all of us would want to spend more time with our family. but we can't due to many committment that we have. i think what we can do is to treasure the time we spend wtih our family. Make sure that time spent wtih our family is quality and that would give us more energy to work. After working for the day, we can go back and spend quality time again

Hi dream! When I accepted the job that I have now, I promised that I will do my best and to keep the interest of the public over my personal interest. That is to include my family. So what can I do now is to treasure the time I have with my love ones even how little it was. Thank you for sharing and sorry for the late reply.

I can understand the feeling of being away from the family, most of the time , just to be able to give them food on the table. It is the problem of most people who has to work abroad or away from the family home, just to be able to give a bright future for the family. Pray that you will have the patience to be in that situation, or if you cannot, maybe you could consider getting another job nearer to you family's home.

This would eventually what every busy person would wish; to stop the clock to finish business or spend more time with family and friends. But it doesn't work at all to wish. Time has to be adjusted and budgeted for more convenience.

First of all, I would like to ask for apology for the late reply. I don't know what happened. Anyway, you are correct. Things need to be done at a proper time so we need to know how to adjust and budget the time that has given to us. Thank you for sharing!

Certainly I have. Many times I have wished to stop time because there are a lot to share to my family. Time spent with them is always worthwhile but I never want it to end. I live now in a different country, whenever I visit them I wanted the days and weeks to be long so I could eat with my mom more, go shopping with her more, and watch TV with her more and so much more. There are a lot of activities that we do together. But now that I am married and have my own family I have to separate. I am doing my best that every day of my life in my family is worth remembering. Life must be filled with good memories.

If I could stop time? I would want to go back and start my life over! Why becasue what I know now would help go through life better! I would do things I wish I had done when i was younger! I would not let my dad's verbal abuse effect me like it has! I would move out sooner then I did! I would not go out in this world and try to find a man. That is what I would wish for! A due over!

Hi blue! I'm sorry I was not able to reply soon. If only we can do those things to correct whatever mistakes that we had or to perform better in order to get a good result. Well, what has done has been done. We have to concentrate on the present. As for me I am not wishing to return back the time because I think I have learned enough from those experiences. As of now, everything was back to normal and I can say that even at times, I am still very busy, what is important is that I still have time for my love ones. Thank you for sharing!

We need to work and to make a living... If I stop the time I want to spend more to my kid and partner. I want to show how much I love them. But I think this is only a dream and we do only if we have our own business and have more money to spend the time to our family...

As OFW I can relate to your situation. Usually, we are just given 30 days vacation and for us is just a very short time being away from your family for almost a year. Towards the end of the vacation, you can really say that I wish I can stop the time just to be able to be with my family.
