What type of transmission do you have?

My car has manual transmission,also called manual gearbox.This implies I have to manually shift the gears according to my speed.What I can tell is that i start to dislike this type of transmission.I mean,it has 3 pedals,the third of it being the clutch.You need to be very careful with it:for example,if you want to shift the gears,you need to release the acceleration,hold down the clutch,shift the gear,and then as you release the clutch,you depress the acceleration pedal.If you time it wrong and you release the clutch without depressing the acceleration at the same time the car will come to a halt. If you want to brake,again.You must hold down the brake with the clutch.If you hold down just the brake,your car will also stop. In my opinion,you shouldn't be more careful at your car commands,but rather on the road.That's why I clearly prefer the automatic transmission. What type of transmission do you prefer?Why?
