Ruining characters just to prop up Phyllis

We had some interested characters on the show including Ricky that could have become a big asset to YnR but they had to kill them off just to prop up Phyllis. Now they have Kevin involved in her bull and lying to his wife.
I bet this thing is going to play out where Phyllis gets off and Kevin is dragged off to prison for Tim Reid' death. Phyllis isn't loyal to anyone but herself.

Kevin is definitely going to be in trouble since they will figure out he was the encyclopedia salesman. It was stupid of Phyllis to put the Viagara pill bottle out in the open; she should have left it in his pocket so that it would possibly look like he had taken them just before leaving to go meet someone. I didn't like Ricky so I am a little glad he is gone. But I am tired of Phyllis and of Sharon.
