No more new player which will be recruited by Barcelona in this summer..Alex Song is the last new player in this transfer..
Barcelona had finished the transfer Alex Song from Arsenal with 19 million poundsterling and will be contracted with 5 years..
This is the second bought by Barcelona after recruited Jordi Alba with 14 millions Poundsterling..so the total expenditure this season is 33 millions poundsterling..
Barcelona is still linked with several defender for the succesor of Puyol and their player like Ibrahim Affelay and Tello is rumour leaving Nou camp..
Let see the comment from Andoni Zubizaretta, the sport director or Barcelona..He said that Barcelona had gotten the player that we wants. Evertything can happen but it is only our anticipation....we had a team and the additional player that we really want it..We will see if some of our player want to leave us, we will discuss with them and see their situation if they can develop with us better and better..
It is the unclearly comment that Barcelona maybe is enough with their current squad..They did not need any player...
Do you believe it is enough for playing in 3 cup and competition??

Yes, Alex Song joins former Arsenal team mate Cesc Fabregas at Nou Camp. He hopes that Fabregas would help him settle down. But I think he will have a tough task of breaking into this Barcelona team. I actually think this was a good deal for Arsenal to get 19 million pounds for a defensive midfielder. Of course, Alex Song actually also showed his creative skills last season and probably that is why he got the attention of the Barca coach.

This transfer is just to freshen up the squad a bit, maybe some of Barcelona players are hard to be motivated and therefore a player with no important achievements, but with great quality was needed. There is no doubt about the huge quality Song has, and I am sure that he will help Barcelona a lot.
As for departures, I think Affelay has no reasons to stay, he will never be a key player for Barcelona. Tello can be a great player for Barcelona, so the right decision for him would be to be loaned out for a season and then return. If they sell him, maybe they will have to buy him back, like they did with Cesc or Jordi Alba and that has cost a lot of money. Maybe the Barcelona officials have learned their lesson and will do the right decision in the case of Tello.

Affelay is still young and he risks to flat out at Barcelona, he needs to play from game to game and he will be the Affelay we all know. But it is very hard to be in form when you barely get time to play, and very rarely from beginning. I think that he would make a great decision if he will leave to a smaller club but where he would be a star player, not a bench-warmer.

I told you already, if you can remember the previous discussion I've started about Why Can't Barcelona Leaves Arsenal Player Alone?.
Where will Song suits? It will be cover for the centerback of course. Barcelona really have a crisis there and Song can cover centerback as well. Great addition to the squad? Maybe yes, maybe no. Let times tell.

Losing a first team player will always hurt any team. Song have been a core in the midfield of Arsenal for the last two season. While the team can adapt his loss, but it always not a good things to see a first teamer move.
Can Arsenal cope up without Song? I believe we can..

Good future to Alex song who has been transfer from Arsenal to Barcelona.
Good midfield player who creating a lot of change especially for Former forward of Arsenal too Robin Van Persie. However he could ability to feel comfortable play in Barcelona fast.

It is good for Barcelona..
They have a good squad..They have another good player too from their academy school, La Masia..
If Messi is off, they still have David Villa and Alexei Sanchez...
Thiago Alcantara can replace the role Iniesta and Xavi...
Abidal and Jordi alba is competitive in left full back...Puyol can be right back if Dani Alves is absent..
And if Puyol is off, Javier Mascherano can be the central defender or maybe Abidal can replace the role of Carlos Puyol..

there is no doutb that Barca is when any player desire to go. Alex Song is an successful midfield in Arsenal and probably a good succesor of Puyol. But what arsenal can achieve this season without him? Poor arsenal!

but i want to correct you..
Alex song comes to Barcelona is not replacing the role of Puyol..
he is midfielder, and Puyol is defender..
c`mon my friend..
look at carefully the news and you should know which one the true information or not..
and second even iam not arsenal fans, i believe that Wenger of course have an alternative planning..he let his player go, because he have another player for that position..
remember that Wenger still have Aron Ramsey, Jack wilshere and Diaby for that position...
