Possibly a fresh new start?

So.. earlier this year I attempted to transfer from American InterContinental University to Kaplan University to finish my Internet & Network Security degree. Five weeks in, I was conditionally withdrawn from all classes and dismissed from the university.. it was not due to my grades at all or performance within the program, it was due to the fact that AIU sent my official transcript copies too late (1 day after deadline smh) and it was unacceptable. I appealed the decision but those were the rules at the time and the dean stated that if rules were bent for me, all students would feel rules could be bent for them as well, which I wholeheartedly understood. I did contact AIU quite irate about the situation though because I had paid for copies of my official transcripts to be mailed well in advance and expected quality and convenience, but smh that was not to be expected with them which is one of the reasons why I decided to leave to start with. My academic advisor was really sad when she found out what had happened and that once the appeal decision was final, there was nothing else we could do and they offered for me to reapply within a year. She still tried what she could to no avail. It's been about 5 months since I've been out of school and I decided to put everything on hold because I finally nailed a full time job working from home that I like a lot. Well.. God must highly favor me because I received an email yesterday from Kaplan stating that I was highly recommended by my academic advisor and after reviewing my progress over the 5 week term I completed, they wanted to offer me admission at no charge for the first 5 weeks again and waive my application fee. I was ecstatic! I emailed them back and I am awaiting further instruction, but I would love to try and balance that in addition to my job if possible, because I only have about 8-10 classes left to complete! You guys wish me luck!!!

I do realize that it won't be something that is really easy to do, but I honestly do believe that you will be able to balance your full time job with your class work. First of all, you said that you are working from home and that should mean that your hours are somewhat flexible. That means that if you need to be online for your classes, it shouldn't be a hard balance to make. In addition to that, many of the online classes are something that can be done on your own time as long as you are able to meet their deadlines.

Yea maybe you're right. My job requires a lot of me, however and I know school won't be so easy because I will be finishing my professional degree in Internet Security when I go back.. so it may be a little challenging. I still haven't made a clear decision yet, but when I do... it will definitely be the right one! Thanks for sharing your views!!
