Is anybody out there going to be a grandpa just like me?

My daughter in law is expecting a baby girl in two months. Me and my wife are exited to see our first grand child and as early as now, we have started preparations for the coming day. My son and his wife have started window shopping for diapers and a baby cradle while just this morning we have decided to name the baby, Anayah Kane. Oh what a name.

Wow that's great news. i am sure you must be really excited about it. I am still in my 20s and no chance of becoming grand parent as of now because I have no kids but my brothers have kids and my father was very excited about it. He carries the baby all day. he is like you and very fond of babies. He mixes well with everyone. with kids he becomes kids and when he is with adults he is adult. So works good for him. I wish you all happiness in the future. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

That's nice of you responding to this discussion I have started. I might be doing what your Pa is doing right now being so fond of his grandchild. I love children and even from the start, I was fond of my neighbors children and as the years passed, his grandchildren would enter our house and I even have time teaching them. Thy have memorized the names of our local officials including the president and vice president if you ask them.
