So there is an E Coli break out in my county they have had 8 cases so far, symptoms are severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. The news hasn't mentioned what has caused the break out if it is from our water or from food. We are all concerned and would like to know what is causing this so no more people get sick. We have started drinking bottled water until they figure out the cause of the E coli. But seriously how long does it take for them to figure it out? I would think if it was that serious especially if a toddler was to get it, they would step up and let us know the real cause so we know to stay away from it. So how would you handle this if this happened in your area? Have you ever got the illness before? I never have but doesn't mean it can't happen now, can happen to anyone. Let me know your thoughts.

You really need to be cautious on this. You need to boil your tap water if you are going to drink water. The volume of 8 cases are not in state of outbreak yet. It could be an isolated case.

this is really scary. I think we need lot of prevention especially for the toddlers. We should maintain our house clean and don't just drink tap water.
