Unfortunately, you need Carbs

Hello Lotters, There are some people would say in order to become slim you need to keep yourself out of the carbs and fats to prevent yourself from gaining more weight. I do believe that anything that is too much can be dangerous, therefore you can't avoid not eating fats and carbs as long as it's miniminal and focus a lot more on vegetables. I think loosing weight is not a fast thing, you need patience and discipline and persistence to make it work. some people feel they can rush it at the expense of their health.

Letran, i still take some carbs although i want to slim down at the same time. I don't dare to fully eliminate carbs. I think our body also need some carbs in order for it to function well. Nowadays, i see myself eating more on veggies and fruits and eating less carbs. I think by doing that way, i still able to slim down the healthy way.

Hello myfb, I don't know if i can ever slim down again because of some problems with my eating habits. sometimes i can't help it when there's a good food on the table. besides, am not eating much the way I used to be.i missed eating little these days.

I do understand that we do get tempted to eat more when a good food being served on the table. I do always experienced that way and get tempted to eat more for that day. But the very next day onwards, i tend to go back and eating more on veggies and fruits. I see i don't really grow fat by maintaining my this way of eating habit. Hope you may succeed, too.

Me, I love getting a little fat. It’s a good thing especially in a cold weather. I don’t have to wrestle a heavy blanket to be warm. Also, they say that my hugs are really good and I’m banking on them when it comes to relationships. I agree with your last statements. Anything harmful is not healthy. The body has its own way of getting payback and sometimes, it might be deadly.

Hello Jeanne, Any harmful or too much can compromise your health it should be balanced or something. wow so you want to gain weight a little so that it can be good at hugging some one, that's nice to know. i didn't think having weight can be an advantage for some reason. well, i hope i can loose weight more in the future.

there are good carbs that you need from vegetables and fruits, and there is bad carbs that you are supposed to take in moderation.

Hello winterose, I just ate banana's today and it was a very good fiber. i guess i should stop eating those junk foods that are not healthy to me.

Yep, you need carbs and fats. You cannot live very well without them, but if you get them from fruits instead of processed grains and meats, then you will be a lot healthier for it.

Hello RawBill, that's right you cannot live with out them. wow, i don't buy much fruits now a days, but you have a point that getting it from meat and grains aren't really helping me out there. anyways,thank you for the advice.

Hello starsailover, that's absolutely right, sometimes i don't even know if am eating right these days. i just don't like the feeling of getting hungry all of a sudden and then eating right. what so sad about this is sometimes i ate too much when i should have just have enough for three times a day

yepp carbs, for energy to be able to work efficiently all day and fats well you need fats. Me i tried to do the right stuff but never seems to work and now i am trying to do another crazy slimming diet that i saw a documentary on it is juice fasting with only veggies and fruits, i know that this is crazy but i wanna change things in my life and this means committing to this so i hope that i am not one of those failures that did this in there life.

Hello deodavid, It's never easy balancing your eating diet and exercise. i have a treadmill beside me but unfortunately I wasn't able to because i need a full strength w/ warm up exercises to get it done.right now, I want to focus on eating less because it's really a bothersome when ever i sit down and mylot

It's more about balance than cutting things out. Yes you need carbs, you need some clean protein, but humans were built to have diets heavy in fruits and vegetables.

Well most of dietician would advice to cut intake of carbs and fats but not totally removed it from your diet. I still believe that they are still part of the food pyramid in order for you to have all the nutrients your body needs. But when you are obese or overweight you will be adviced to cut short of these food to lower your weight.

Hello Rsa101, I don't think removing carbs is very wise because it's not going to do any good. yeah, but lucky for me that am not that obese to begin with. but i do have gain weight just a little bit for me.

letran in order t o be healthy one must have some carbs with the protein and a little fat bu t the good fats. I am a diabetic and also need to lose weight so I cut down on carbs and eat the veggies and fruits with the more complex carbs that will not make you gain and cut down on brea d and starchy veggies like potatoes and corn. still have a little potato and a little corn. portion control is what helps diabetics to keep good control of weight and blood sugar.

I do avoid carbs like rice but then i do not avoid foods which has good carbs for me like wheat or brown rice..so somehow i am still eating good food and at the same time still taking the essentials..

Hello Jazel_juan well as long as your eating is a bit balance. I haven't really eaten that kind of food for a while but i have eaten wheat or brown rice before. you don't have to avoid all the carbs because you need them actually. good luck with your diet my friend

Yes your body needs carbs but too many carbs is bad there is no get skinny quick method I see all sorts of people fall for various quick diet scams and I feel bad for them I are not taking the time to research what is in those products or how it can affect your body They dont realize that they are often doing more harm than good
