Tagging

Well,I don't know.But i you tag,someone who will someday use those will get your page you commented,and maybe look on your profile and and express his/hers opinion.So,it's for the best.

csbaholcz We may not earn specially for tagging our responses, discussions. However since quality is given importance and if the tags go to improve the quality of the response certainly it will indirectly help you earn--i will not say more. i ensure I give necessary tags whenever i start a discussion and also while posting responses.

You do NOT directly earn any cents for tagging BUT if you add relevant tags, then your own topics stand a chance of being seen by others and then receiving new activity which would give you the opportunity to earn more by responding back. Have you noticed the similar topics column over there? -- Those are topics with the same tags as the one that you have open, the discussion at the top being the one with the most recent activity. Does it make it a waste of time to tag if you do not get paid for doing it?

When i just join myLot, i too dont know what the tag used for. I only key a single word that i used from the discussion, then after awhile i see how useful the tag was especially for when using Search discussion. With the tag i can check of the same keyword and also not to post the same question posted by other lotters thus will safe my time and now my tags are more than one keyword.
