I don' t know what's the official name of this bug but we call it smelly necause if you kill it, an awful smell comes out! It has green colour and iy came through the window earlier, probably because I had my lights on! The problem is that I can't reach it to take it out of the room and I have to sleep! It is sitting on the small void between the light base and the ceiling, I tried to move and pull the light but it didn't move. Now I decided to go to bed and sleep but I am still thinking about it! So I decided to log in to mylot through my phone and take my mind away from the bug! I hope it will stay there all night without moving towards my bed! Have a good night my friends! :-)

You might mean a stinkbug, they are sometimes brown though. At least here, and they do not smell when they are killed for some reason. I have not seen one in awhile but in the Spring there were alot of them at times here and there on the enclosed porch here.

I think it is similar to this, I didn't know what the actual name of the bug is so I did a free translation of the word! :P It is said that they release chemicals with a strong smell when they feel threatened. I always avoid to kill them and try to take them out of the room, but this one was sitting so high that I couldn't reach it without taking the light down! I haven't found it yet, it's either still inside my room or it got out by itself.

Here we call them stink bugs. I would try to get it onto a piece of paper or something then double the paper over without killing it and throw it outside.

Yes, that's the name of the bug! I didn't know it until I read the comments here, thanks for giving me the actual name of the bug! It was too high and I couldn't reach it, but I usually try to bring it down and then catch it. This time it was sitting at a difficult spot and I left it there. I don't know what happened to it because I haven't found it or heard it again. It was a big one this time!

We have those bugs around here for the past few years. They even had a story about them on the news. They just called them "Stink Bugs".They are very annoying.I found them on the ceiling and had to use a broom to get it down.

The sound that they do when they fly is very annoying for me. I was sitting at my computer when I heard the sound of a bug flying, and I looked everywhere but couldn't find it! It stopped for sometime and then started again, so I saw it on the ceiling! Sometimes they also sit on the top of the curtains and it's hard to trace them. I usually wait until they sit at a lower point to catch them with a napkin and leave them outside.

There was a similar thing in my home last week. I am seeing such creature for the first time. I happened to touch it, horrible! My finger was smelling badly. Don't know how does it happened? Just a touch was enough to have such a bad smell. And I sprayed body spray all over my body, then it was okay.

Haha!! The smell can last for days, I was reading that it's because the bug releases it and if it falls on you, you can have it for days. You are lucky that the body spray covered it! Next time you should avoid touching them!

Hi friend, i know about this bug, previously we have this fly in our house, luckily we changed our home and we don't have any insects of flies in this new house, don't worry, use the insect killer to avoid this kind of bugs

There is a smelly bug in my room too when I keep my window open in the eve for long. Just close those windows in the eve and no bugs will enter your room or even if you want to keep those doors and windows open just keep your light off for moment.

Hi! I am keeping my windows open because the temperature is high during the day and I want fresh air to come in my room in the evening and night. I keep the shades closed but the bugs can still come inside because I don't have a protection net that's sometime used to prevent the insects coming inside the room. Those bugs are very annoying because it's difficult to catch them and they are hiding so well that I can't find them!

Whatever you do don't crash it or step on it. Just take it outside.
