The Kid in ME

I am 26 and I still love to play. I guess it is but normal for anyone to have time to relax and be a kid again. When I got home from the office I spend time downloading games and play 'til my fingers get numb clicking the mouse. It's my way of coping up with stress, forgetting the work pressures and gaining back my energy. Few minutes left and I'll be off for arcade. Yey! How about you? Do you still have that kid in you?

hi! I'm 3years your senior. I really love to play, I play with my students and cousins. I take time to play physical games with them. Makes me alert and have an exercise as well. I'm not into computer games, makes my eyes hurt. Happy gaming!

Physical games make you fit and healthy. The longer we keep this kid in us, the healthier we are making ourselves. Yeah, I'm careful with playing too long in front of pc too.

My mother-in-law is almost 60 and she's still playing fb games. I'm 34 and i play with my son. I play all sorts of games, lego, pc games, nintendo, wii, playstation, etc. By the way, I'm also into longboarding together with my son and hubby.

That's nice Toni that your mother-in-law still plays FB games. It means to say that she has friends who can play it with her, and it's what makes her like it. It is also very nice that you and your family goes longboarding together. It's one way of keeping the family intact - same interests.

I do still have kid in me and I'm 27 years old. I love spending time with my neices and nephews because it gives me an excuse to act young again and be really silly. I think all of us have a bit of kid in us, a lot of people just refuse to reveal that side of them.

Exactly, it feels better when we are silly but happy. Well, maybe we can't take away that kiddie side in us. Some who don't want to reveal theirs would be growing old fast.

I think even a 60 year old has kid in him. I had two young children, I don't get to go out and play anymore(we have plenty family fun but not going out as adult fun). I do wish once in a while, I could go out kidless and play! I play a lot of games on the tablet though.

Haha! Even technology got its way to make us turn into kids again and play. We deserve to enjoy life the fullest regardless of age :)

Everyone is a kid at heart with something. I am not afraid to admit that I am a college student who still enjoys playing video games. Once a gamer, always a gamer. Most of my friends would also agree with me. Despite what others may say, I think any adult who denies being a kid at times is a liar and hypocrite. There's nothing wrong with having fun. For me, it's more weird for someone who doesn't engage in fun activities. What's wrong with being a kid at times? Life is short. You should enjoy it while it lasts. Sometimes, my friends and I reminisce about the good old days of playing with Pokemon cards.

It's one part of our lives that will stay through the years. Having fun is a MUST. We should never forbid ourselves of things that will make us happy and young. You're right. Life is short, we must live it well and enjoy it everyday:)

Well heck, I'm 56 and still love to play, board games, cards, computer games, whatever. Even acting silly. I've always said never let the inner child die, that's when you start getting old. I've always said I'm never getting old, I can't help it if the numbers get bigger. Enjoy the day. :)

hahaha! yeah, as the numbers get bigger the more conscious we are of aging. I'd wanted to keep this kid in me forever 'coz I don't want to get and feel old :)

It's good that you still have time to play and relax. Everyone, I believe have a kid side. It may differ in the way we show the child in us. I am in my early 20's, and I play games a lot. My mother and grand mother also play games. Maybe that is why, our childhood plays a very important role in our lives because eventually, as we grow older, we will still have the kid in us, and it will never be gone.

They say we must not miss our childhood, it's vital in our growth. It bothered me when I reached the age 20, I said to myself - I'm not a teen anymore, but it's just numbers. This kid inside wasn't gone. It's a way of forgetting the stress of the mature life:)
