I want to get into managing people's Facebook/Twitter accounts. I was wondering if anyone here's already doing that and if you could give me any advice on how to get into it. Thanks.

Hi yugasini, Thanks for your response. What I was asking about was this: some people get hired to manage other people's FB/Twitter accounts. So, for example, a company has a Twitter account. They hire me to tweet for them (as in I log into the company's account and tweet on their behalf). It's like how a company might hire someone to blog for them, but in this case it's for their FB/Twitter accounts. That's what I was asking.

To making money with managing facebook can do it easily if you have a lot of friends on your facebook account.First you can manage people by category such as : family, business, friends, etc.Than you can try to upload some product, sell and promote on your facebook wall, ask your friends to see it.Who knows that you're friends need your products and wanna buy it.Good Luck.

Hello tedifa, I think you may have misunderstood me. Or it could be I didn't explain myself properly. I wasn't asking about managing my FB/Twitter account. I was asking about managing other people's FB/Twitter accounts - posting/tweeting on their behalf.

Hi flagella, I'm thinking perhaps I didn't explain myself properly. Though I appreciate your response, yours is the third that thinks I'm talking about managing my FB/Twitter account. I posted (and I quote): "I want to get into managing people's Facebook/Twitter accounts." Some people get hired to manage other people's FB/Twitter accounts. It's something I'd like to get into. What I was asking was advice on how to get into that (from people who are already doing it). Take care...

I believe that there is. It's the same way some companies and individuals hire people to ghostwrite for them. I believe and have seen people who manage other people's social media accounts. It's called social media management.

You mean as spoke person in someone (or companies) FB or Twitter, right ...? I think you need to contact companies or actress for these purpose. In my country your method already applied on that.

Yeah, something like that. Not so much a spokesperson though - more like just tweeting and updating their FB status for them. I know some people do that. I just need to find out who does and ask them how they got into it. I was hoping someone on myLot had that experience. Thanks.

Hi Browneyed, it's been a while. I guess you should look into 'Virtual Assisting' jobs or 'Moderator' job. Zynga is a company that frequently hires moderators for its Facebook page and I've been told that the moderators are handsomely paid. There are other sites too which hire people for moderator positions but sadly, I cannot recall names.
