Suspicious Stranger

hi mylotters, hi mylotters, It was raining hard this afternoon and I only have 4 customers around when suddenly a man approached me and said I am going to leave this bag to you, I was what? I told him wait why? he smiled and asked me you don't want me to leave this to you he is about to put down the bag and with a high pitch tone I said NO I don't know you he smirked at me and said but I know you don't you remember me? I feel creepy with this man and I said I can't remember you maybe he is aware that I am going to make a scene if he will not stop what he is trying to do so he said Ok if you don't want me to leave this then I will not he grinned at me and leave the place. But he was just standing at the gate for about 10 minutes and it seems observing me I was about to call someone when I saw him leaving the place. I kind scared cause what if he is going to leave the bag with a bomb on it, or a drugs, it can also be something illegal I was a paranoid one but you can’t blame now. Especially now a days that lot of fraud are just around the corner. Did you ever experienced the same? What did you do? Hope everyone has a great weekend Happy mylotting

No, I have not experienced anything like it. And definitely do not want to...ever! Yikes! Such a scary thing. Did you ever see that sinister guy again? I do hope not.

You could tell him to leave the bag to the owner of the shop . It was a creepy situation since you also didn't know the other 4 customer, rite? You couldn't tell if the others were his friends or not - if they were it could be a robbery then which thankfully it wasn't. It is normal thing that we have paranoid behavior since there are many people do hypnotizing to steal our stuffs - exploiding bomb - and etc. My friend lost her mobile phone several years ago in a bus contained over 10 people ! The thiefs were 4 men worked in a team - the other passengers like were hypnotized since there were no one helped her at all even to scream . We were too scared at that time (most of the passenger was old lady ) That's why I always have a paranoia when I m in a same bus with several men dressed like a civilian

NO! i don't have creepy experience like that it won't happen to me. good thing you have shouted with high pitch saying no because you didn't know the person. why would he leave a bag and you didn't know him and he didn't even say who he is. it's better to shoo him away and if he has good intentions,its better to let him say something about it himself. always watch out cause he might come again and be sure you'll recognize him when he's there. you should call police or somebody to watch out when he goes back.don't you think?

Hi Bhaby- I think he came with a gift for you and you missed your chance. Perhaps you would have gotten some thing to surprise you as many of your friends in distant countries keep sending gifts for you. Now that you have refused it he has the excuse to keep it for himself.

Hi, That sounds creepy and dangerous. I also encountered a suspecious guy, he was offering me his help, money, ride and food. He said he wants to make friendship with me, I refused, he came back after 2 days doing the same I refused ones again, we argued this time. One day when I was on my way to the guard house to ask for an emergency number that I can call, I saw his car, parked in front of the building where I work and he tried to talk to me and followed me, I was glad I saw the security guard going my way, the guy went back to his car. I told the guard and he confronted him and he was banned from the area. Have a great day and happyylotting to you too:)

I had same experience as yours, well not exactly same scenario but it was about trusting other people. It was yesterday when a young lady approached my home and asked if she can use our toilet, I was skeptical for a moment but I also let her in and use our toilet, for hospitality sake . As she walk to the toilet I started asking her name from where she is etc (maybe she felt also my paranoia..) While she was inside the CR my imagination was spinning. What if she plant some explosive device, or a hidden camera or maybe she just want to have a view of our house inside so they can make plans of how they can easily enter to rob us. So after she left I go inside the CR and checked. And I really have not slept good that evening because I was nervous and worried of our safety. Trusting people you dont know is not a wise thing to do at this point of time, many crimes are going on around, tho sometimes being vigilant with your safety can put you in an embarrassing situation and hospitality which Filipinos were known can be disregarded.

If you make me guess, it's most likely something that was stolen and there are people after him , there are 4 customers? So it's like you have a shop or manning one? Is it also possible he wants you to sell something for him?

That is creepy! I would have done the same thing you did. I would have been paranoid as well. Nothing that creepy has ever happened to me and I am grateful for that. I am glad your okay and he finally left.

Still now I did not have such an experience before in my life. Well, you must be very careful and don't fall in those stranger's words. May be they are the ones where danger is hide inside them. Always try to get some friends or someone else with you. So that the strangers will not approach you in in an open manner. They will be worried to do it.
