I was watching some of this show on TV today (I forget which channel but had to tape the last part of it cause I couldn't finish watching it all tonight) with this title on one of the music channels which I rarely get to watch cause someone is always complaining here of how they don't like the it or how they're not into the music, etc. ( Well, I never asked them to watch it with me, I don't like all of their shows either so I leave the room!) and it was really interesting for me as I've always been a great music lover. It is a fast moving special on many of the superstars of music over the years. I think I got to #75 or so, and will watch the rest tomorrow hopefully. But some of the artists they had on already were Hall and Oates, BeeGees, Beasties Boys, Van Morrison, The Pretenders, Run DMC, Tupac Shakur, George Michael, The Cure, Pearl Jam, Judas Priest, Earth Wind and Fire, Mary J. Blighe, Mariah Carey, OutKast, Elvis Costello, Lynryd Skynrd (I know the sister of the sound engineer that was injured in the deadly crash in the 70's), and more. Do you like any of the artists I just mentioned and who are they? Would you have stayed and watched a show like this? They were moving along quick with the artists and not dragging on, maybe even too quickly so it was kind of fun watching it. I haven't watched a decent show (IMO)like this in years.

The BeeGees were one of my biggest faves too, I got into penpal with the likes of them years ago which was a life saver for me. I had no real friends for awhile in school and the penpals helped me get through my day. I don't now how some people claim they don't like music, I think it's just odd. Some kind of music is good for the soul.
