Hi there gang, I haven't been at work lately since i am on my leave and training for my job abroad but it seems to me that the hospital is being flooded by patients i checked with my friends there and my gal and they say that there are a lot of people coming in and with different conditions, i was thinking that dengue hemorrhagic fever will be common but as of now patients are coming in of different conditions like diabetes heart issues and some other systemic viral infections so it is really hard since my friends were back in the hospital tends to handle to many patients and at the same time they receive different kinds of cases that was odd to them. I hope that i can help but am already doing something with my time and i am on leave so i can only pray for them and give them moral support.

If you're in my country, Philippines, then perhaps it's because of the calamity that was brought about by the typhoon a few weeks ago. People were displaced, a lot of cities and areas were flooded, garbage and pests were all around, lack of power supply and water supply was followed. Now comes the diseases. I guess dengue fever would be normal at this point because of a lot of stagnant water and places to be cleaned up. If you do have friends suffering from such disease, it's good to let them know that drinking a lot of water (as in a lot) helps and eating durian fruit does help too. If tawa-tawa plant is available in that area, it would be helpful as well. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

Well i am a nurse and i do know the drill but the thing is we dont have that many patients that were affected by the floods i think none at all and most of the DHF patients have already gone and there are probably just a handful of this dengue patients most of what we have now are diabetics and people with heart issues and cholesterol problems but its fine as long as we can handle it and maybe get more nurses so that we can really be more of service.

Well, then, I guess our eating habits have finally made us sick. I do hear a lot of diabetics these days. I also hear a lot of young people having heart attacks. Whew!

The only I know, we can not put two worlds into one. You can not imagine when outbreak struck a certain area, we are still bless that these kind of conditions can be controlled. In contrast, other countries can not.

Sure thing if you come to think about it we are still lucky over here but really if you come to think about it the quality of care seems to go down when there are to many people to attend too you really loose the every little bit of the quality part, and more likely you'll just be more focused on the medical side of caring.

I really observed that the sick people are really exponentially increasing this because of their lifestyle and the food that they eat. That's why everyone must be really be careful and observe with what they eat. Everyone should also be physiologically active buy doing exercises.

Lifestyle is really a problem for more people and i think that media cannot really for most of the commercials encourage processed foods that are unhealthy for people i just hope that people will try to be more responsible to what they eat so that they can avoid health issues in the future.

Hey there nat, It must be difficult for you to be in your residence and seeing people getting sick, well the people that my friends at the hospital receives are not mainly contagious diseases most of them are lifestyle and age related diseases that people suffer from so it is kinda an awakening for us that we should try to live better so that we will not suffer those issues in the future.
