Liverpool vs. Man City - The big match of the weekend!!

A pretender to the top 4 takes on the Champions from last season. Man City is coming off a fighting performance in the first match while Liverpool is coming off a another poor performance on the field in the first match. Do you think that Man City is too strong for Liverpool? Or do you think like in the past, Liverpool would raise their levels against a big opponent and throw in the punches?

Man City is going to beat them like a rented mule! Liverpool is good team but not That good. I fear a 3-0 Man City score. Why do I fear this? Because I root for Liverpool.

Are you allowed to beat a rented mule. :) These days the owners and the animal rights guys would hound you for that :). On a more serious note, I think Man City are the favorites, but Liverpool is known to raise their game against top opposition. So far in the match they are holding their own against Man City.

iam not sure Liverpool performance..
their problem is still same with my team, inconsistency..
i don`t think Brendan rodger is easily curing the problems for Liverpool..
Manchester city play without Aguerro..but Tevez can be the hero for them..
Manchester city have another alternative when their starting line up is not effective..that`s different with Liverpool..
i think i predict that manchester city will win in this game..

I have seen Manchester City is a very strong team, however they are not without problems, especially off the field. On paper they would have sew up the title before the season begins, but this problems tip the balance and give the other teams hope.
Liverpool is a team in progress, and at least on paper they would be steam rolled by the might of Manchester City. However the ball is round, you never know what it is going to happen. If you ask me to predict, I am hoping more for a draw, I think it would be a fair result.

I think Man City's problems on the field are mostly in their defense. But to tell you the truth I am not yet convinced that Liverpool is a team in progress. For nearly a decade now, they have been a decent Cup team, but not good enough at the League level and the indications are there will be more of the same this season as well.

I too think that this is going to be the big match of this weekend. Even though Liverpool was not at all good in their last match, I think this is going to be a tough match for Manchster City. I am sure that both the teams may be aiming at a victory in this early stage

I think the match will be different even if both teams reach a different result in the first game of the season when Manchester City and Liverpool win should accept defeat. But it seems the game will be running a draw. It should be recognized that Manchester City are strong opponents but I am sure Liverpool can take the fight and can reach maximum points at Anfield.

i support the Liverpool,though Man City may be a little stronger.it is awful that i cannt see that match because it's too late and i have to get up ealry.
my favourate team is Man United and they won the game vs Fullem,i feel so happy.
