How much do you recycle?

I only send plastic bottles back to the supermarket. Collect the five cents each and get something for my daughter in the quarter machine. My building doesn't really recycle unless you go out of your way to separate it in the basement. We don't have time but to go to the garbage chute. If it was more convenient we could but until then it is so hard with young children. Am I a bad citizen?

I use to recycle often, to cut down on the amount of trash I had. I'm no longer in the same situation, and recycling isn't as easy as it use to be. Our city does not pick up recyclables on trash day. It takes a community working together to make it all work. No, you are not a bad citizen, because as I said, it takes a community working together to make it work. Cool thing..last night on Shark Tank, I saw a guy with recyclable shoes. How cool is that?

My local council has a serious message which says recycle as much as possible. They give each household a black bin on wheels for garbage which they empty twice a month. They gave me two green boxes for recycling and two brown bins for food scraps. In the green boxes I place card, paper, tin, plastic and glass. I have those collected every week. In addition I have large green bags for garden cuttings like grass. This is collected less often. I find I am doing more recycling now I have got used to the system. I eat a vegan diet and care about the environment.

I recycle pretty much now. We have in front of our building trashes for various garbage. Plactics, paper, glass, biological stuff. So I put it into that trashes. It is cool, because this make me glad that I do sometnig for good environment in the future. I think its not your fault, if you dont have possibility to recycle your garbage. That don`t make you bad citizen.

I do recycle. I separate used bottles, plastic bottles of shampoos and conditioners including cans. We also separate paper products from the usual trash. However, only a few do take time to recycle due to their active lifestyle. They just throw anything into the trash unmindful if it is toxic to the landfills. You are a responsible person for investing some of your efforts in recycling. If we would all do our part, perhaps the environment will be a lot cleaner and safer.
