classical music is mind's stimulating?

while jogging down the street. question pop-up into my mind is classical music can stimulate our mind? for me, there is a possibility because when i am study and review for my exam, there is a classical music heard in my room. i felt a certain relaxation while listening to this classical music and i can easily memorize and get it fast on what i studied and reviewed. i read some article about pregnant women listening some classical music, were in the speaker of the CD is near the womb of the mother. so that is why there are gifted and smart children. what is your comment?
