When I was in High School, I am a Catechist, I teach grade school students about the Bible, and some good doings, I am also a choir member and attend the Liturgy every Sunday or every time the church have a program. I am a child of God. As time passed by, I can no longer attend to Sunday Mass, and found myself not praying everyday anymore. I felt that my faith has lessen, and I am very ashamed of that. I think it is time for me now to think what happened to me and to my faith, I know I still have it, am I that bad not attending a Sunday mass? I still pray silently, but didn't go to church already.

You're not bad for not attending Sunday mass always. Attending masses is not the basis for faith in God. It's useless to attend mass often if your heart and mind is not into it. As long as you still think of God and do his deeds then I think that's enough. I think saying thank you only as your prayer is also enough.

Thanks for that, sometime I am really ashamed of myself and feels that my faith is not strong enough compared to others who usually attends the Sunday mass regularly.

Don't be ashamed because I know someone who attends church regularly and all the catholic celebrations but I think it's just all for a show because her attitude is not great. She backbites a lot and this is not a teaching from the bible.

My faith in God is pretty strong I think. Of course there are times when I doubt Him and there are even times when I just don't care anymore. I think it's hard to have a strong faith when you are going through tough times and when you feel entitled in things.

Glad to hear that, I also feel the same, especially sometimes that I feel that I have a never ending problem to deal in my life. :( BUt I sill go back on HIM and says I am sorry if sometimes I doubted him.

I guess we're on the same boat.. But it's the other way around. I go to church every Sunday. It's the praying I fail to do regularly. I believe in God and I know that He's in control and that's precisely why I pray that my faith be stronger so that He won't make something happen just so I would be forced to grow in my faith.

Keeping the sabbath day holy is a commandment. It is the best if we observe this commandment to attend Sunday meetings and allot this day for worship, service, and rest.
