this is a fantasy thread, If you are not into these type of topics, dont post I know most mylotters here are pet lovers so I am sure you are most likely to related with this one. If out of a sudden, your pet have the ability to talk like a human, Understand human language and have the ability to carry a conversation, what do you think your pet is most likely to tell you? do you think they will always say nice things? or do you think your pet/pets will always complain. Based on your pet's personality, what do you think your pet is mostly likely to say if they have the ability to talk? do you think your pet loves you or hates you?

My pet was always cheerful so he would say "play with me" and "scratch my belly" so that's what i think he would say.

My cat would tell me she's hungry all the time and wants to go out to go to the neighbor's yard to eat their grass. She would also tell me when my hair looks messy as she seems to stare at it when it is. She would be the type to tell you to stop doing something if it irritated her. She likes to race me to the other room too sometimes (playing) so she might tell me she was gonna race me and win.

I remember how upset looking my cat is when I force her to eat cat food. I think based on her body language she wanted the steak I was eating.

Well i would love to think that my pet could talk. At times i feel like he is hurting or in painor maybe just wants the door open to go outside. I wish he could talk so at times i knew what was wrong with him or what he wanted. Its hard on me because i know he has health issues and i wish i could just know what he was saying to me. Hes just a cute little boy LOL. I know my baby boy loves me and even loves my boyfriend more. My boyfriend is home during the day since he doesnt work and they get to spend a lot of time together.

If he can talk, i think training him would be easier as well. we wont have to worry about him being kidnapped or biting neighbors, since its would be easier to teach them things. we might hear their complaints though. "dogfood again? I want to eat steak"

Good day CaptAlbertWhisker, With regard to your post, I will feel glad if my pet can talk. Since, I do always make a chat time with my pet, so I will be happy to hear her response. Aside from that, maybe she will be a shoulder to cry on, whenever me and my brother having our arguments. Just like now, my brother order his children not to talk to me since we are not in good terms. And if he caught them talking to me, they will be punish. As a result, my niece and nephew is always avoiding me so as not to start a conversation.

Even if dogs cant talk in real life, something about them is really comforting. They know how to remove the stress out of their humans, they were very affectionate. Which makes me wonder why I prefer cats, cos cats are kinda mean... speaking of sibling wars, a certain aunt of mine and my mom haven't talked for years. they just disowned each other.

I guess the cat will complain on how he have to eat catfood made of animal guts while you are eating freshly grilled tuna. From what I know dogs see their owners as member of the wolf pack or their parent. so talking to them would be like a family member. Cats see their owners as their property.... so yeah in their minds we are the pet. It could feel degrading talking to a talking cat,

well if animals did have the ability to speak, it would depend on the intilligence of the animal to how far the conversation would proceed. I think Golden retrievers would be quite stimulating to talk to because you can see the intilligence in there eyes. And I am sure the conversations would be great. Where cats would probably be more tricky. Because cats are so independent. So I am sure conversations would come with a atittude

Dogs may have a tendency bto say nice things to their owner if they can talk. I am a cat lover but I know those cute whipper snapper kitties are secretly evil... I can see cats saying disrespectful things if they can talk, I love them anyway.,

It would be great if Odie can talk so I can have someone to talked too when my daughter is at school. Were only 3 here including Odie most of the time I talked to him specially when he does being sweet to me and need something. I asked him several question and if I hit the right word he will bark on me signaling that he want's what I did say to him. But if he can talk right away he is the most talkative one.

It seemed like your dog is very sweet and he wont be saying profanity to you. I thinks its going to be a different case with cats.

wow that would be amazing. it is already happening in cartoons and that is why i love to watch cartoons. I would love it if my pet dog starts talking our language. They would just call out and if there is thief or something, they will just call out. I think it will be a totally different scenario and things would be different than this. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

and also toilet training them would be easier because the dog will have the ability to understand human language.
