Hello Lotters, It's been years since Gordon run for president but under his supposedly new political party known as bagumbayan. but what happened to that party? how can he leave it behind like that? I am not sure whether i will vote for him again, he left his party making me suspicious of him being a real trapo. why can't he just run solo like all the others though he has done a lot as we all know it, not fair for leaving his own political party, unless it's dissolved though. maybe he got too scared running for his own after the 2010 elections. it's been two years, i dunno really. unless he proposes new bills that beneficial I am not sure if i will vote for him this 2013. it's different for me now.

I remember you as the staunch defender of Gordon before when he ran for the presidential race. I guess people change and sometimes they have to make compromises to be able to get his goals again. I think Gordon is a good senator himself, and if he decides to I might give him the chance again and be seen back in the senate if he wants to. I truly believe that with his very strong personality and witty ideas he can do more works for in the Senate. As for him running under UNA party I guess it is just a part of the game that some politicians learns in his career. It is best that you join a group that has the best machinery to put you back in power. Sad but true.

Hello Rsa101, I do recall this is Erap's alliance party with Binay and Villar. this is huge, but some how, i don't know where his so called principle lies. He did run independent before why can't he do it this time? he's just too prideful for a active politician. if the debate comes in, let us hear on what he's about to say

Running independent in a senatorial elections can be proven as hard especially when strong political party will present their list. If you will ran as independent you might not be noticed by it since there will be two contending parties involve. The presidential campaign was a bit different since you only have to fight with a few candidates. Whereas, if you will ran for the senate you will be against more than that and there will be only 12 senators that will be elected. I think that could be hard to manage if you will ran as an independent or at least adopted by any political party. We know that it is hard to fight alone in politics.

I feel the same way. I’d like him to run but being associated with a party has its own advantages and disadvantages. Of course, many people will see the advantages first. However, I think that his intentions, integrity and other notable qualities that made him a standout and a good public servant will be called into question because of his new affiliation. Right now, I don’t know if he can get past thru the party image for some of his supporters. As for Macerda, I think we had enough old blood in the Senate. I don’t doubt his ability and experience but the senate needs a new fresh supply of blood and faces (with good qualities and leadership).

Hello Jeaneyvonne, Every one was commenting that Maceda is nothing more than a complainer and a whiner but never made a bill that would help our people. I wonder what happened to his bagumbayan party, did he just just let it die out? well, let's see how he plans out on presenting his platforms. right now, I need to know his agenda

i like gordon. he can be a good senator. but he is better in the executive. too bad he did not win in the 2010 election. i think he is running for senator to remain relevant and exposed to the public. although he is the chair of the red cross in the philippines, he can try again for public and elected post.

Hello Mensab, me too because he knows what he's doing. I just wish they would have chose him to be the next DILG secretary because he knows what he's doing. I think it's just too little for him to do in the red cross. well, I will hear his speeches and debates, but if i don't hear anything, might as well abstain for 2013
