Did anyone by chance watch the India vs. Nepal match today? The Nepali team surely knows how to waste time. Each time a player was walking off the field, they were talking so much time to do it, that finally the referee had to hurry them out of field every time by running along with them to the lines. This I find is immoral. Yes I know that sometimes players have to waste time depending on the situation of the game. But having a referee run after you each time to the lines, is shameful. Somewhat immoral I feel. What's your opinion?

I think given the pitch conditions and the rain, neither team really wanted to be out there. Given the fact that Nepal had lost both their first two matches while India had won both their matches, it was expected that Nepal was going to be defensive. And I think given the conditions India could not really force the play and get a winner.
But I guess India will still make it to the finals of the Nehru Cup.
Cheers!

yes i second your thought completely. Well unfortunately i could not watch that match but yes i can put it this way that referees and umpires are the most respectable in a match and we should follow their instructions fully. If they are made to run or are ill treated then its a shame to the entire sporting fraternity. What say?
