So, I haven't really done any posting since Solo died, but a lot has been going on around here. I've mentioned in a few responses, that my client, Maggiepie, returned to the hospital. Turned out she had some serious scar tissue from last winter's surgery and needed something done. Rather than going over every other day and take care of her cat, I decided that Minnie should come to my house. Since Solo died, we have no cats residing in the office, so that's where we put Minnie, she's not fond of other cats - to put it mildly... Well, the roomie's little great-nephew was very concerned, because every cat that's been in there that he can remember, has died. "Is that kitty sick?" he asked the roomie. She said he sounded very worried. "No, her people mommy is sick, so we brought her over here, but she doesn't like other kitties so we are keeping her in there." Wasn't that sweet? I'm not sure when Maggie will be coming home, but she's WAY better than she was last winter, so hopefully they can get her off all those machines and send her home soon. So, I'll be not working for the next bit, but hopefully Maggiepie will be home before long and I'll be back working again. Isn't that kid sweet?

I'll relay that her mylot friends are wishing her to get better. You know I'm not real fond of small children, but I like this kid and the roomie tells both him and his folks that I do. Hard not to like his sister... every time they told her to give "Bibi" a hug, she came around and hugged ME instead!

I think its because I treat her like a cat, I don't watch her like a hawk, cats, and some small children, like that.

He and is little sister had gotten slushies and then went home. Just as they got in the door, his sister fell and spilled her slushie. She was probably more upset because of the fall then actually hurt or realizing her slushie had spilled, but he right away said "Don't cry, you can have mine." How sweet is THAT?

He is a very sweet kid. Yeah, we hope Maggie goes home soon too, as for Minnie, I think she would rather be at home away from all these strange cats.

I wouldn't doubt that he'll become a cop, lol! That's pretty unusual for a child that little to observe that much....that's super sweet and caring! Hope Maggie gets off the machines too and comes home. Nice of you to take care of Minnie while she's there.

The roomie and I debated this last winter, but because we had Star and Solo in there most of the time, we decided not to. But this summer the gas prices are higher and we don't have anyone in there, we decided to do it.

He's so cute! And what an odd thing for him to notice, he must keep that brain busy wondering about all sorts of things. What a big issue for such a little guy to be worried about, most kids would not give it a second thought. Sorry to hear about Maggie, I hope she gets to go home soon!

Oh, he's really smart! He already knows most of his letters, knows how to read his name, can count to 15 and the pix is of his first day in pre-K

I was talking with the roomie and holding Timus. I said: "Probably my favorite cat is whoever I'm holding/petting at the moment, but I think my real favorite is Timmie." "More than even Taj?" she asked. I looked over at Taj. "Yeah, Taj is very special, but..." She smiled: "He doesn't hug you." "There's that." Timus will put his front paws on either shoulder and then stroke your chin with his face. Not much else you can call it but a hug.

Well, Minnie isn't too lonely because she's in the room the roomie works in during the week. Also, she's getting canned food every morning... I hope Maggie gets better soon too.
