We are brothers and sisters

Yesterday, we all got an invitation of having lunch together from one college who just received a PhD degree. This was a nice chance for all people can have lunch and chatting together. I don't drink beer but some guys who drank much. All was so happy and had nice conversation. I ate a lot also because food was so yummy . At that time, I had a feeling that they are my brothers (i am the only woman in my department), not have a distance as colleges in a working place as usual.

Exactly.Having lunch with guys is certainly a pleasant experience.It becomes even more pleasant when you feel all the guys having their lunch with you are your brothers.You feel yourself safe and happy.Your feeling for the boys is likely to generate similar feelings in them.The relationship between brothers and sisters is sweeter than that between friends.I appreciate your thoughts and feelings.

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, at that time i had that feeling, they are not my colleges, they are my brothers since we had nice time, eating, chatting together...

Hmm...PhD degree certainly calls for an invitation. It's always fun to receive party invitations from friends. Chit-chatting, laughing and eating together makes such parties more enjoyable. Nice to know that you have such good colleagues and you all share such a healthy relationship. Take care and keep enjoying such parties.

Yes, he got a PhD degree so that he wanted a party to celebrate it. We had such nice time together...

Yes, it is. People are closed and shared many things together. I love it...it looks like a family party, not a colleague's meal anymore.

hihih, i don't think i am lucky because be the only woman in a working place is not really good, i really want one female college. However i had that feeling, they looks like my brothers... I like this working place..
